Exp rolls his eyes, then peers into the realm of Shadows. He watches as their shadows depart and then looks at his companions to see what they do.

Exp looks at the platypus with an eyebrow raised. "I do believe I was the one to rescue Eddie in the first place."

"Oh come on" Exp steps in front of Eddie and summons his Shadowblade, settling into a fighting stance.

The portal closes behind the group. They find themselves on a strange world, in some sort of shallow ocean that stretches farther than the eye can see. The water reaches Exp's knees and he can feel sand under his boots. Shades. I payed good money for those boots.

A blade appears in Exp's hand and he slices the air before the small group. A portal of sorts appears, leading to another world. Exp walks through without looking back.
