Yeah, I’ve read read all of the Cosmere works.

I’m still kinda new here, so apologies if this has been discussed before. I’ve been thinking about the kandra religion and their prophecies after my last reread of the Mistborn series. In WoA, OreSeur (TenSoon) tells Vin that the kandra have a prophecy that they will only be free of the Contract when all the humans are dead. While he states that the prophecies are metaphorical, I could easily see some kandra taking them literally. So my first question is: did the kandra religion arise organically separate from the old Terris religion? Did the Lord Ruler know about it? Secondly, I wondered if this is connected to the Set’s Faceless Immortals? Are they a splinter group of radicals who want to bring about the removal of humankind through a twisted interpretation? I’m curious what others think. Maybe I’m way off base!

My Secret Santa this year listed Mistborn as one of their favorite books. Being a huge fan of the Cosmere (and also a chemist!), I chemically burned a piece of wood using ammonium chloride and heat! The letters are the giftees initial. It took me a long time to get the right concentration and viscosity, but I think it turned out alright.

Geez. So many good characters to choose from. I most recently re-read Era 2, so my current favorite is probably Wax. @Honorless It’s pretty difficult to have a least favorite character because most of them are well written even if I disagree with their actions l. However, I’d probably have to choose Zane off the top of my head. @Rask

First books I read were the final three Wheel of Time. Pretty sure the first Cosmere book I read was Warbreaker or Elantris. However, Mistborn era 1 really sealed my fandom!

Been reading Cosmere books for about a decade now. I follow all the various subreddits and have been listening to the podcast for the last 10 months or so. Thought I’d reach out and say hey to fellow fans!
