  1. What does everyone want to see in Storm light 4? For example, 1) I am super excited to see what Sanderson has planned for Wit's epilogue. Brandon said it was something he has planned for a very long time. 2) I want to learn more about the Ghost blood's mission and goals. 3) I want to see Ba-Ado-Mishram released
  2. I had the same question. Marbel is valuable in today world because of the rarity , beauty and difficultly in producing it. Soulcasting it should dramatically reduce the demand and price of the marbel. However, lets say that mining marble is still a great investment, there still is a huge problem. They use the soul caster to add large deposits on the property. This is crazy! They will now need to use significant resources to mine and produce the marble. The should just soul cast the marble in a way they can sell it without as much production cost. Even more, an advantage of soulcasting is that you can product beautiful works of art out of easily malleable materials like wax and than soulcast it into marble or wood. Simply said, even if you could have the raw material, you wold still need experts devoting a significant amount of time and resources producing the final product. In short the ghost bloods devoted alot of resources into a program that would end up providing a significantly more expensive and less useful product.
  3. a question I have had for a while is about lifts gift for investiture. In my reading of SLA and edgedancer, I think lifts ability to convert food into investiture as a wonder gift with alot of distinct advantages ( For example, having access to her powers when there is not an available source of investiture . However, am I correct in assuming that it would also dramatically limit the level of investiture mastery she will be able to achieve. It seems that the level of investiture she is granted by eating is dramatically less than that of other Radiants.
  4. Wow those are absolutely amazing! Have any other works?
  5. Didnt Brandon say that the cosmere standard was to use the term shadesmar but that as the systems advance they could start using the more accurate term " Congnitive realm"? I might be mixing that up from one of the 17th shard podcasts.
  6. Just wanted to introduce myself in the forums. I am a long time Sanderson Fan. I have used the 17th Shard and the copper mind for years but finally decided to get more involved with the community. Hmm so a little about me, I currently live in Vegas but work all over the country. Started reading Sanderson with Warbreaker and have continued from there. Glad to be apart of the community Hak

  9. Wow, i need to study this more I guess. Looks like I was wrong
  10. I have read part of the secret BYU copy. I need to go back to Provo and finish it.
  11. I wish i could grow my hair and change it color.... it would be so much fun
  12. Brandon has officially asked us not to talk about it ?
  13. I can not wait to learn more about this world. I think it is a great idea not to have this in the cosmere like Sanderson originally planned, It is a great alternative history
  14. I always assumed that it the Storm father was the cognitive shadow of Tanavast ( post ascension to godhood). He would not be the CS of the human but of the god. The storm father is the CS and memory of the shard known as Honor I believe.
  15. I asked the library about the loan copies when I was there. They told me that they removed those two copies and the only way now to review it is in the special collections. You do not need to be a student to view the copy in special collections
  16. I believe the copy I saw had like 227 pages. The three maps were so very basic. They were made with 2001 map creator so i guess it was the best it could be. I just wish Brandon had someone draw them out
  17. They also do not have any copies to loan out to anyone ( including students). They only have 1 copy that anyone can access in the special collections area.
  18. I went to the library to see it. I am not a byu student and was allowed to read it. They only allow you to bring a pen and loose paper into the room with you. The associate I spoke with at the library also told me that they were trying to upload copies of their special collections to the website. He didn't know where Dragonsteel was on the list.
