Hmmm, honestly if I could meet any Sanderson character (minus Moash), I'd be pretty happy. If I had to pick just one, I would probably say Dalinar, because I feel like, after all he's been through and experienced, he's got a lot of wisdom to offer. I'd also love to have a conversation with Lightsong, just to see if I could navigate all of the sarcasm and wit.

Of course! I’m 17, and right now I’m a junior in high school. I got introduced to Sanderson through my 8th grade literature teacher (she recommended Mistborn). From there I discovered the Cosmere, and my mind was blown. I’ve always loved to write, but reading the Cosmere books has inspired me to try my hand at fantasy. Not many of my peers or friends are into reading and writing, so I’m pretty excited about this site! It’ll be a nice reprieve from stressing about college and testing and such. I’m planning to study molecular biology in college, but I want to be published one day too.

Hmmm, it’s hard to decide! I admire his determination, and like I said, the charisma is off the charts. He’s also one of the first Sanderson characters I read, so the nostalgia factor is there too.

Hi everybody! I'm in high school, and no one at my school reads Sanderson...so I thought I'd finally join the Shard. I'm really looking forward to seeing/partaking in all the theories and discussion. Stormlight is my favorite series in the Cosmere, but Kelsier is probably my all-time favorite character (I can't resist that charisma, lol). I'm reading Mistborn Era Two right now, and enjoying it a lot so far. I've also read Elantris, Warbreaker, Emperor's Soul, and Secret History. High fantasy is definitely my favorite genre (my boyfriend recently started me on Malazan...hopefully I'll be able to do the same for him with Cosmere!)
