So, as I understand it, the mists were Preservation's power attempting to Snap people, until Ruin changed them so people started dying, thus creating the "Deepness". In Secret History, Kelsier is able to recognize the nature of the power when he holds it; why didn't the Lord Ruler re-alter the mists so they wouldn't kill, or try and put the mists somewhere where Ruin's meddling wouldn't affect people instead of trying to burn them away? I understand he was new to the power but it seems a little strange that his first thought would be "move it closer to the sun to burn it away".

Probably Windrunner just because Gravitation (I know Skybreaker has it too, but I know more of what can be done with Adhesion than Division). And yes, I'd love some cookies.

Granted, the fictional character Bane is now both real and your roommate. He's a lot of fun, except that you're Batman. I wish for cool socks.

I've read probably a majority of his work, just finished prose of White Sand a bit ago and Aether of Night today. I take just about any chance I get to recommend him to other people--he's truly an amazing author. I'm also on book 3 of WoT and look forward to the rest of the series, especially once I get to the ones co-authored by Sanderson.
