  1. "Well, 'course! Not much of a step down from the King, an' I used to work for him directly, yeah?" He chuckled. "C'mon, we can go say hi together."
  2. "Ah, she's the queen-to-be she is! I's been assigned to her. She's real nice, you'll like her lots."
  3. "Aw, that's lovely." He smiled. "I'm goin' to say hello to miss El'nor, you wanna come with?"
  4. Nicolae gave a wink. "You havin' a zu-bop of a day, love?"
  5. "Oh, 'lo there, miss 'bella." Nico held a tray in one hand - and despite his clumsiness, he held it rather expertly - and ruffled the girl's hair in his other.
  6. Riva raised an eyebrow at her new husband, wishing she were physically strong enough to drag him over. But since she could not, she instead scooted closer to him, like a 3rd grader purposefully annoying the boy she knew was wary of her supposed cooties.
  7. Hey, everyone! I'm so glad people have liked this blog so much! It's certainly been a joy to show my stuff off. Anyway, I'm about to finish up a sketchbook drawing and after that I'll be working on something VERY special. I plan on it taking about an entire month which is... a lot. But it'll be worth it. So all this to say I won't really have all that many drawings to post for a while. As for the draw itself... This all started almost six months ago. On a day when I was not being particularly nice to myself, my mom urged me to think of what my characters would do for me if I were feeling that way. It was an idea that stuck with me, so I drew this little gesture of me surrounded by the characters I love. And then, a few months later, I found this lovely piece on Pinterest and have since assigned characters to each of the princesses in it. I thought it would be a ton of fun to use this as a reference to draw me and my characters together. And so, I'll be working on drawing it as a pretty good sized poster for my room. It's gonna be a very hard project for me, but it'll also be incredibly fun and I cannot wait to show you the finished product. In the mean time... please be nice to yourselves, you guys. You deserve it.
  8. "Oh, come now, cheer up. It won't be so bad." She began serving herself some cake, only holding her laughter back by biting her lip.
  9. "Awww, Caden," Riva said in a sing-song voice. She ruffled his hair gently, resisting a chuckle since she knew if she let it out it would sound absolutely manic. "Don't look so glum, you've just gotten married."
  10. Riva took a seat and put her elbows on the table, grinning. This might actually be fun if she was able to get Caden to do what she wanted him to...
  11. "It's free food..." Riva mumbled. She took Caden's hand - solely for the purpose of making him uncomfortable - and followed Ivian, digging her nails slightly into the General's palm.
  12. Riva considered. Feasts were not something she was ever invited to; diplomats didn't like being reminded that they could be sent to her at a word from the king. "That certainly doesn't sound awful," Riva said. She nudged Caden with a sharp elbow.
  13. With a heavily sarcastic sigh, Riva leaned on her hip, folding her arms. "Festivities?" She managed to sport an impressively raised sharp eyebrow.
  14. "Wonderful. Caden and I will live separately, won't we, darling dearest?" She stared at him, wide blue eyes commanding.
  15. There was an awkward pause. "... Is that it?" Riva asked, honestly shocked. "May I go home now?"
  16. Riva sighed. "Let's get this over with, shall we?" @Frustration
  17. Riva scoffed at the outfit. She'd expected that he wouldn't be near as dressed up as she was, but this was an insult. She glared at him, her radioactive blue eyes - unshadowed by her usual mask - so piercing they could have stabbed through his armor.
  18. "I do hope I'm not-" Riva paused in the doorway, arms outstretched in a dramatic fashion. "Late," she finished flatly, noticing the groom's absence. "Where's Caden?"
  19. Riva was ready. She looked as though she was ready to go to a funeral rather than walk down the isle in a few moments. And, quite honestly, she was worried she might as well be. Ivian surely didn't want her to die, but though Caden was disgustingly loyal to the man, he was also incredibly unstable. But no matter. She'd tame him fast. Her hair was done up tight, a long black feather secured in her plaits. The black dress she wore had a long slit, revealing the whole of her right leg. Her bony shoulders were bare, but a cape collected on the right side, the left side adorned with climbing fabric vines. She may not have liked that she had to go to this stars-cursed union of matrimony, but she may as well look fabulous while doing it. @Channelknight Fadran
  20. "Well, unfortunately for you," said Riva, "I don't have the time; have a wedding to attend. Your concern for me is duly noted. If ever you find yourself sent to my dungeons, I just might feel a bit of pity for you. Have a lovely rest of your day, Brother." With that, she walked - bony hips swaying - out of the room.
  21. Riva sported one of her classic, unsettling grins. "I would be dead before I finished reciting my entire list of sins to you, Priest."
