  1. Ugh, these won't show up. Also, totally ninjaed.
  2. Yes, victory. My victory.
  3. Welcome to the Shard! Who's your favorite character, and what Sanderson books have you read?
  4. Welcome! I'd be warry about those cookies. It's probably spiked. What other Sanderson books have you read and who's your favorite character?
  5. Just AonDor, though all of the Sel stuff is cool. Elantris was my first Sanderson, (I've read it three times) so I suppose that makes me a little bias.
  6. Ah now that's actually a hard question. I see the characters as the most important part of the books so I'm not really super into any of the magic systems. I'd certainly rather be a Feruchemist than a Mistborn, but I know my way around Allomancy much better; I can recognize all of the symbols and name all of the metals we know of. But I wouldn't say it's my favorite system. I love the idea of Surgebinding, but I think my favorite is probably AonDor because of how mysterious it is and how it directly draws from Dominion and Devotion's locked powers.
  7. I am a devoted Kelsier fan. And a Sliverist.
  8. Welcome! Who's your favorite character?
  9. Oh yeah. That's why Warbreaker is so awesome. No one is who you think they are.
  10. Ooo... Well, I think I'm gonna have to say Odium. Straff Venture is my least favorite character of all time because he has no redeemable qualities and he's just a terrible, terrible person. (Kell, you killed tons of nobles and yet you didn't kill this guy. You know how many problems you would have solved!?) Ruin is scary because he's cruel (appearing to Spook as Kelsier was terrible and he had the power to make it so that Marsh's spikes didn't hurt him but he didn't care. YOU DON'T HURT MY MARSHMALLOW AND GET AWAY WITH IT!) but though he's certainly crafty, Odium knows people. He can take someone's self and use it against them. He's terrifying because he understands. Ruin's just entropy.
  11. Yeah, that's true. But I feel like Amaram's story could be a compelling one on its own. He has secrets and he seems a bit broken. Yeah, he's a baddie, but, well, I'm inclined to give people like him a chance. I mean, look what Kelsier did. Still, siding with Odium is terrible. Moash is pretty similar and he is dead to me. I guess it's just the mystery that entrances me.
  12. Amaram... I was kinda sad that he died because I feel like there was a lot we could have learned about him. Sadeas was just a total cremhole.
