    It had been cursed to rise, see. Star again pointed out Silence's imminent threat.

    "I was hoping you would know. Can you teleport us there? If not, you could share the location telepathically and I could get us where we need to go. I want to free Pheonix first; the rest of you can do whatever you need to."

    Star eyed him. "I was hoping this would be less of an attack than a stealth operation."

    Star shook her head ruefully.

    If only it were that easy on TLT, Star thought.

    Star sighed. She hated road trips. It was supposed to be a solo stealth mission. And no one could know her plan! She sighed again. This would be quite unorganized at best. At worst... well, they'd think about that later.

    Star laughed. "They say you can tell a lot about a person by the way their treat their pets. That goes for both of you."

    Star smiled. "Hiyya, Bozo."

    Star facepalmed. "Not again."

    Star eyed Jay. "You'd better be nice." She turned to Shadow. "And you'd better behave."

    "And how can I be sure that you won't sneak off and join the enemy or throw a hatchet at Xino's head?"

    She shrugged. "I don't know. Why do you want to go with us?"

    Star raised an eyebrow. "I don't trust you not to sabotage the mission."

    "I guess I thought I'd be going alone. It makes sense. In a way, I created the Master of Silence. And I can't utter a word about what I plan to do lest I be overheard."

    Star smiled. "Are you going with me, then?"
