Hoid's Travel Agent

I'm about 1/3 through my first reading of Warbreaker - loving it so far. All caught up on SA, so cool to see Azure before she was Azure. Does Hoid make an appearance in WB that I should be looking out for??? I'm confident I know what to look for, but equally confident that Brandon will throw a curveball.

I'm with Dresden - Era 2 is also my favorite. You're in for quite the journey!! You'll be re-reading all of the books eventually so I'm not sure if it matters that much where you start, lol.

Right on, I for sure will have to check that out. Mistborn was/is my favorite (though I kind of prefer Era 2, I love the Wax/Wayne character development)...then Stormlight was kind of tied for my favorite...then I discovered Hoid. And then the Cosmere became my favorite. I spend most of my time re-reading Cosmere books just trying to find things I missed now, that link the various shardworlds together. Secret Histories really blew my mind, I hope you have read that one as well!

Welcome! Hoid is also my favorite! I have not read Rithmatist yet...though it is on my list. It's good to hear another good recommendation for that one, though not surprised, since it is Sanderson after all! Lol I got sidetracked into yet another read through of Mistborn, currently in Era 1 (again). What are you currently reading?

Are there hemalurgic-based penalties for NOT incorporating an Ookla name change? Or any penalties, for that matter? Asking for a noobie friend. Ok, asking for me. Any good threads someone could recommend for theories, particularily in the Hoid/Adolnasium amd Kelsier/Sovereign topics? I'm familiarizing myself with the various forums but still getting the hang of it. Of course, that could just be me feeling the effects the spiked cookie I ate this morning.

Can I ask a dumb noobie question? Because I'm going to. I've seen "Ookla" alot...meaning of that? Thanks for educating, and for the cookie that I hope wasn't gluten free. And thank you for the heads up on free Warbreaker! Definitely diving into that next.

Hello Gang, First post here, but long time Sanderson enthusiast. Recently fininshed my 4th read-through of Wax & Wayne era 2 series, which lead to my 5th re-reading of Secret Histories which has lead to my 6th reading of Era 1...rust and ruin, Sanderson. You've hooked me yet again. I've also read Stormlight Archives, because, duh. Anyone have a good recommendation on the next Cosmere novel? Warbreaker? Elantris? As Saze would say: I'd be curious to learn more about Khriss and Nahz, I think.
