They were my first dark fantasy books. They kept me on the edge: Now the heroes will mature, now they'll fix the world's problems, aaaaandd. Well, you know. Red Country was even better than The First Law. IT.... IS..... AWESOME.

You mean there are actually some people from Egypt here? Wow. As for my neighbors, there aren't much fantasy readers around, and those who are, read books in Arabic. So no luck there. I don't actually know anyone who likes fantasy books here. Sigh. Scadrial is quite enchanting, especially in the original triology. Next to that is WoK. I loved Roshar and the stormlight archive a lot, but the first book is just that good Not a book, but "I hate Dragons" Makes me laugh till I cramp everytime I read it

Marsh, to drive the remaining spike straight through his head? That Atium misting priest that I forgot his name? Shallan (do you really need a reason?) All good candidates, but I think I'll take Adolin. Too good looking and its time for him to get a head (ha) start on the way to becoming his father. It'll also be a very good present to give him on his wedding, a memorable painting.
