  1. Well, that sounds right. Also he may have been afraid that Honor and Cultivation will come to each other's help and a fight against two shards would surely have ended with him being Splintered. So maybe he tried an indirect way through Humans. But it still bugs he that he splintered Honor but Cultivation remained. I think Cultivation surely had some role in Honor's splintering.
  2. Even if Ingenuity is a shard which I am not sure is then also we have no idea where it is settled and what are the other four.
  3. Yes, but it is expressly stated in oath bringer that voidbringers i.e. human bought the void seems to me he was settled on whichever planets human were before they got to Roshar and he come to Roshar with them why didn't he just splintered Honor and cultivation rather than settling in with humans and propelling them to destroy there homeland either by dawnshard or surgebinding then move on to Roshar to take on Honor and cultivation.
  4. He will.As time will pass the shards preservation and ruin will give intermingle more to form harmony that they will lose there intents as preservation and Ruin independently.
  5. He may have been afraid of Ruin but why didn't he tried to kill preservation as preservation's intents would have stopped her even from killing Odium and honestly I cannot imagine Ruin coming to preservation's help. Also if he was afraid of Ruin then he should be terrified of Harmony now, How can he think to splinter Harmony. So his plans are already doomed.
  6. If all he wanted was to wipe out other shards then come he got tangled at Roshar getting himself imprisoned. He also seems invested on Roshar considering voidspren, voidlight and voidbinding thereby decreasing his own investiture making it more likely that he loses a battle against a full powered shard or a shard like Harmony. Also how come he never visited Scadrial considering internal struggle of Preservation and Ruin and there already decreased Investiture than a full Shard as they are invested more heavily on Scadrial than any other shard on other planets.
  7. I know but Dragon steel is set at the time of shattering so maybe we get to know what are the other shards but it still will leave the question of whereabouts of shards currently and their effect on whole functioning of cosmere. Unless he introduces new shards on existing shardworlds.
  8. From what I know I think after holding a shard for enough time the vessel loses its free will as Hoid mention in his letter that ATI was a good enough guy but he went all ballastic after harbouring ruin for a while. So I do not think Rayse himself has free will now as he is holding Odium since shattering. What he wants is all Odium not Rayse. Just my thoughts.
  9. Do you guys have a idea of what is odium's end goal.As he is not Ruin who just wants to destroy, he is personification of hatred so me must have a goal. I know he wants to free himself but what then. I don't think that is all he wants on Roshar also he seems to Harbor some kind of grudge against Human as they left him and sided with Honor What do you guys think?..
  10. I agree with you but one have to be careful not to take up a shard like Odium at first as it will oppose you from taking any other.
  11. @Servillius if you have all 16 shards in one body then there intent will effectively neutralise each other hence there will be no persona to take over your consiousness so you will be you with power to do anything you want to.
  12. I would love to be a Full lerasium Mistborn. Either that or a skybreaker
  13. Is there any other series Brandon have yet to announce? Because, I am curious where will he introduce rest of the shards. So far we have names of eleven of them- 1.Ruin 2.Preservation 3.Honor 4.Cultivation 5.Odium 6.Endowment 7.Autonomy 8.Dominion 9.Devotion 10.Ambition And the one mentioned by Brandon as the shard which only wants to survive 11.The survival shard So, Anyone have any idea how is he going to introduce rest of the shards...
  14. Thanks
  15. The child scenario does not appeal to me even a bit, first I think Odium needs the champion to choose for himself and a child has no pain to give up. Even if it works by their gaurdians accepting it then also Gavinor is in care of Dalinar and Navani. Oroden with Lirin and kal's mother I can not see any of them accepting it. Even now I think most likely choices are kaladin, Shallan maybe Adolin. And for Moash he is too Obvious for being Odium's champion, it's not Brandon's style remember how he mislead us to the last point to give the Real hero of ages in mistborn.
  16. Hey guys any Idea how can I get White Sand prose ?
  17. Spren are afterall splinters of Honor since Odium was the one to kill Honor it is not likely spren will go to Odium's side. And by the time first radiant come to be Singers have already aligned themselves with Odium instead of Honor. So, I think that is what led to spren betrayal as mentioned is songs. Also, Timber had bonded Venli who hates Odium so maybe... You get the idea right
  18. Thanx. You may be right as Dalinar is out of option and szeth have chosen to follow his will and going over to odium will break his oath which is most unlikely considering his past decisions based on honor of his words even as a truthless. So that leaves Shallan and Kaladin. Ues, Shallan seems more closer to Odium's than kaladin but I am having trouble picturing her with patternblade to fight a contest for world's fate. But anything is possible with Brandon we can theorize all we want he can prove us all wrong in just a moment. So there.
  19. Hey guys I was just thinking what if events turn such as kaladin becomes Odium's champion. He will not have to break any oath to do so as he will not be fighting anyone who cannot protect himself and also if fourth ideal is to leave those whom you cannot protect or to forgive yourself then what if he decides that there is no hope for human to survive and joins Odium's to protect parshendi and he will have to fight Seth in contest of champions, also Brandon have a thing for doing what is most unlikely so maybe. So, what do you guys think.
  20. I think Diomedes is right in this regard if odium choses to come in front in all his Glory there is good chance that ardents will take his as almighty, it will also provide them with concrete reasoning to prove Dalinar a Heretic and get in the position of Power. There may be also certain ardents who can go upto odium knowing full well he is not the almighty as the one we saw in interlude of alethkar in words of radiance can't remember his name though..
