    Deteca was tired. She wasn't a fighter; she wasn't even Invested, and though she'd heard others speak grandly about the Alleystorm's wonders and power, to her it was just bad weather. She ducked against the pelting droplets and moved closer to the DA delegation. The emotion she most felt was despair, she had to admit. She'd been too late; she hadn't gotten there before the building was obliterated. Deteca could only hope those inside had escaped on their own beforehand. The method she'd used to get here hadn't improved her mood, even though she had had assistance. "My apologies for being reduced to Alleytraveling," she said to Voidus, meeting his eyes. She stood straight, but didn't bother to try to appear strong. It would only come out as bravado, and she had gone through their alleys. "I wanted to get here fast, and that seemed my only option. Not that it helped, clearly." *** Pi dipped his head at Zokora, then gestured for her to bring her soldiers into the tunnels as he went inside.

I'm probably fine to head out, aren't I? She hated the idea of just standing around in here while everyone else fought for their lives. So, Joy zipping along behind her, Cassie ran for the doors and burst outside, orienting herself in the direction of the fight. "I'm on my way, guys," she muttered. Unbeknownst to her, others were on their way as well, and they had not only left first, but despite being farther away, they had cars and were getting there first. Sirens screaming, three cars from the SPD roared onto the street; they unloaded their cargo quickly, and a man's voice rang out over the insanity. "EVERYONE ON THE GROUND!"

    This sounds fine, except for this: The gods and goddesses are supposed to look like normal people, and, er, Creativity doesn't. Maybe tone down the fingernails, make them not be moving? Neither Hopearaa nor Creativity should have the tech to do that. The eyes also might be a bit much. I won't say I don't like it, because I do, it just doesn't fit with the world's capabilities. Sorry, Ark. (Also, they haven't invented syringes yet, so you'll have to lose those.) That description works - I don't have anything specific for that stuff, so you guys can improvise whatever you need that seems reasonable. Sorry BoS, I'm not ignoring anyone, I just haven't had the time to write.
