If they don’t want to be in the discussion, then they don’t have to. Not everyone wants to bother having discussions like these. Some people may simply want to vote and then move on. That was a hypothetical question... You don’t need to, because you can make a new poll when it’s done. Not every poll needs a compromise. Take the one about the year, for example. And that is your opinion. I sincerely hope that everyone is choosing what they do because they want it to happen. Xino, just because people are opposed to some of your ideas doesn’t mean they’re opposed to you. And compromise means you don’t always fully get your way. You’re coming across to me as someone who is not willing to accept that all your ideas might not be implemented. Someone always has to come up with the poll. Someone has to decide what the options are and how they’re worded. I don’t know how you’re classifying that as negative when I am trying to be excessively positive during this whole thing , but regardless, my point continues to be that there is no issue with the polls we use now. I have had other people echo this opinion, and I honestly think you might be the only one who has a problem with the header polls. You are the only person to ever voice a complaint in my memory. That is why we are not changing the way we take votes. If people aren’t keeping up with the thread, then that’s entirely their own fault. If they’re inactive then it wouldn’t make much sense for them to be voting anyway. Of course not, it’s possible that there are concepts everyone can agree upon. I’m saying that not every question will be like that, because that has been proven with this roleplay’s history so far (and the history of every other roleplay I’ve ever been in). We do. I don’t currently have the time to scour early pages, but I’d like to bring up two things. One opinion that has been expressed is that you have been taking things as canon without explicit approval from the majority, or that some didn’t understand what your worldbuilding was. Also, that worldbuilding is malleable. I definitely do not mind! It’s wonderful to have more points of view, and in fact I encourage anyone else with something to add to do so. Thank you for your opinions.

“Rope might help,” Cassie thought out loud. Meeting Leona’s eyes, she added, “I’m with you there. It would be nice not to have an attack around every corner.”

I have no idea who that is! Ha, Luna, Strange Planet is fantastic.

It has a soundtrack?

No, though I’ve heard it recommended. The first pages looked really weird.

- Penny Oooh, webcomic? I’ll need to remember this.

They can have a say through polls, and some people won’t want the PM clutter/chatter, or won’t want to be involved in the worldbuilding process but merely vote when it’s done. We have no real reason to do that. Besides, if we switch to using the thread, then what in the world was the point of the PM at all? You can. As a bonus the polls often have compromises built in. That’s because for most people, the reasoning is that they prefer it and think it will work better, whatever it may be. Pretty simple. And trust me, I’d much rather have people ask than have this discussion. If you ask nicely, which I’m sure you will, then it won’t sound anything close to that. I disagree, but this is a matter of opinion so I won’t go on. You should always keep track of the results of a poll, at least when it’s happening. Doing some through one method and some through another doesn’t sound at all worth the effort. I put enough effort into these. I’m done with this discussion - I’m sorry, your way of doing polls might work in a different circumstance, but in this one I’m the one it affects most as unofficial moderator and I’m sticking to this way of doing it, because I see no advantages to the other way. I always mention it in the thread, every single time, so that’s a nonissue! And again I reiterate, the odds aren’t in favor of everyone approving of the idea. Many contributions have been had about both plot and worldbuilding. Less contributions have been had when it comes to your worldbuilding. It seems you interpreted it differently from how I intended. Never mind. Xino, I don’t know what you mean to say, because it was voted against and the word ‘actively’ doesn’t make sense in that context. Everyone should have read the question before choosing it, and if they were aware of what they chose, then they were actively deciding on that option. I believe that you have been defending what you believe is canon. Clearly others don’t agree. My idea of canon is what we agree on as canon; the majority vote. That is, in fact, the definition of canon in this setting (disregarding the non-RP meaning, since all RPs are fanfics and what Brandon writes is the real canon.) Yes, which is why I’m going to ask that everyone please stop, including you. Not even close. It’s your decision what to do with Draug; I offered a way to get involved, since you’d mentioned not feeling involved. If you want a way into the stuff that’s happening, she’s available most of the time. Noted! Thank you! (BookishOcelot, hope you don’t mind that I skipped over the actual fight, didn’t want to godmod Leona by leaving her out.) On an irrelevant note, I’ve found Cassie’s theme song. Rise Up by Imagine Dragons, it fits her word for word. Ignoring her plea, the Voidbringer lunged at them again with the sword he’d obtained [...] and a short tussle and one trip to the Physical Realm later, the Radiants stood triumphantly over him, their Stormlight having barely outlasted his Voidlight. Now he couldn’t get away and was disarmed. Cassie noted that the battle seemed to be over, that the two of them were the stragglers. Rob and Ashlyn were speaking in the middle of the lawn - which was in a somewhat bad shape - and everyone else had apparently gone inside. The chaos of the fight was caused their captive Voidbringer to vanish, probably dead, and Cass’s eyes wandered down to the one they had right here. “I’ll keep watch over this guy,” she told Leona tiredly. “You want to go get some of the others to help? Or could you...would Soulcasting bindings be too precise for you to do?” @BookishOcelot

Nightwatcher Boon/Bane (Game)

Granted! You now have the ability to be sure about gravity. You just know gravity will always work on you. Your surety is the most certain, true, definite thing ever. You’re so positive about it that you can’t even be negative about it. You’re also in space now and can’t leave it. You’re surviving fine, but being driven mad by your curse insisting that you feel a gravitational pull while your body feels no such pull and your observations convey that to you. I wish for the Surge of Gravitation, and to have no ill side effects stemming from it. You can make me a Radiant or not, up to you, Your Majesty. *gives the Nightwatcher a very polite look* I’ll try to do good with this power, regardless. -
“It’s okay,” Clare panted. “I got here.”

I’ve had my photos uploaded upside down before too. It’s always weird.

Good By the way, the album that the song Voidus is singing is from is called The Stranger, which absolutely kills me. Metaphorically. As opposed to literally being killed while he sings. What do you think of that? (Definitely not just asking an arbitrary question so I won’t double post in a min)

Cursing filters generally only filter curses (and annoyingly, not all of them )

The filter doesn’t change crap to crem. I usually use crem, but decided not to this time because...idk?
