*please excuse me for my English*
Just a couple of years ago, I'd never heard of Brandon.
I'm from Belgium, and I fell in love with reading when I was ten, reading Tolkien.
And I never looked back. I read all fantasy I could get my hands on and still do.
The Wheel of time is and has always been one of my favourites.
When I heard about the soon demise of our grand author I was struck with grieve.
I often tell the story to non-fantasty people, how another took it upon himself to finish the series.
It resembles the pain I feel when I discovered another great author - Terry Pratchet - suffers from Alzheimer.
But I actually meant to sing a song of praise: Brandon, you took the series to another level. I thought Jordan was getting too occupied with the all men-women difference.
You wrote the last books with the kind of passion that I almost forgot they were by another author.
Before, I'd never had the chance to read one of your books, but now they sell them all at the local book stores.
So far, I've loved every one of them and I'm planning to read them all.
I've always wished to be an author like yourself, but I know that seems unlikely.
A final note: I'm glad I've had the chance to begin reading you.
Thank you.
(I have no idea who read this forum, but if there is someone who could get it to Brandon I'd be very happy)
And hey common, Steven Erikson? Anybody?
