  1. Phew made it back. I wanted to say that the toucan vote has been giving me really really bad pings. Toucan. Any chance of this happening? @Mint Heron @Ivory Dragonfly
  2. So we didn't get a tie and and two votes were soothed, one claimed by Ivory and another unknown. Mouse has offered an explanation but it could be said by both an elim or village. I do think there's a chance that elims try to frame mouse but I will put my vote here for now. Mouse. I should be back on later and look a bit more in depth at all this. Currently trusting only Ivory and heron. Elephant and kangaroo to some extent. I'm open to lynches outside of these but I suggest Toucan. Don't know how to feel about scorpion at this point.
  3. Who's Hael? And why are we lynching him? If Toucan's not happening, then Vulture it is. Not too comfortable since Toucan is voting scorpion unless some epic bussing happening here.
  4. I can only phone post but I'll see what I can do. Of course. I'm glad we played together and you were an important part, regardless of identity, of this village of ours. Village: Ivory - as before Heron - recent posts give me a very villagery vibe. The post style and analysis seem 'figuring out' rather than 'framing for lynch' which makes me think villager. Also the RP when they became heron 2.0, the carefreeness, and now getting into 'solving the game' mode affirms my read for me. Overall, a villagery progression to where they are now, game-state-wise. Elephant - as before. Kangaroo - as before Slight village/wouldn't lynch today: Zebra - I've moved zebra down here due to not hearing much from them recently but I still feel they're a villager. Crocodile - as before. Mouse - Contrary to what heron outlined, I thought the readslist from mouse felt villagery. Maybe because I like to do the same thing sometimes. But I like that they gave a wider overview of players rather than focusing or tunnelling on one or two players (which is okay just within a cycle or two) and gives us access to some of their thought process which allows the players to read them better. Slight village for now. Pearl Chameleon - I would like to look at Chameleon in more detail later but atm, unless they're attempting to distance, my elim lean on Toucan is making me trust Chameleon slight more than before. Don't feel too strongly about: Falcon - been inactive (like me) to get too much of a read on them. I don't know what to make of their recent vote/unvote on Vulture, though. Could be a villager just trying to jump on a vulture bandwagon or an elim trying to push vulture bandwagon or an elim-teamate of vulture trying a distancing attempt play. If Vulture is elim, I would look here again. Vulture - I had an elim lean on them and voted the before. I felt slightly better about them the next cycle and their posts had an air of non- chalance. They are the surviving wagon from when we had the most villagers vote. The posts today doesn't really help me get a stronger village read on them so I will leave them here. Elim leans: I still feel there's at least one elim in @Amethyst Scorpionscorpion and @Sunburst Toucan if not both elims but even I doubt it's elim/elim pair. (Refer back to my reads from the previous cycles) I'm less suspicious of Scorpion in comparison to Toucan. However, recent posts of Toucan and their analysis makes me waver somewhat but we're at a stage where we have to vote carefully. If Toucan doesn't take off then I'm willing to vote scorpion.
  5. This is a rather unexpected development. I was expecting to catch up on a lot of posts but even with the night cycle, there's not a lot. And, of course, I haven't been much help in that department since I've been rather inactive myself. Quick thoughts on the lynch. I didn't pay much attention to weasel last cycle as there were many people focused on weasel and I wanted to focus on others. Most people have probably already thought of all this but just to set it in text. Hopefully Weasel can come online, otherwise the situation with weasel makes me think of two scenarios: 1. Since there isn't a player behind weasel at the moment, village weasel can't really try to defend themselves or do anything which could give us a village read on them. Hence, the lynch goes through and we end up with a dead villager. Advantages: we don't have a player remaining in the later cycles who we can't read and therefore will be a wildcard if it comes down to process of elimination between a few players. Village weasel can put us in the position where we can see some pushes on them. Disadvantages: Another dead villager. We have given the elims an extra night to kill. Discussion has been rather low because the lynch is on weasel to sort this matter. 2. We have an elim Weasel. Since there's no one controlling Weasel, the elims possibly tried to make a counter-wagon to save him the previous cycle. If weasel still gets lynched, it's an elsecaller so, again, they get an extra night kill basically. Today, they may or may not try to still save weasel. It's unlikely they try to stick their neck out to save an elim weasel if he's an almost guaranteed lynch and put themselves on the map by bringing another bandwagon to the forefront, but assuming the weasel lynch still goes through; which is what will bring the attention on the counterwagon. Elims could possibly join the bandwagon and upon weasel's flip, hope to get some towncred. Although it took two cycles, we still get an elim and we're finally at a point where we can look at interactions between an elim and villagers and make association-based reads. Meanwhile, there's no reason to not give thoughts on other players and lay out our suspicions even if we're thinking of joining weasel's lynch or want to bring another wagon. Personally, I'd rather try to get one of my suspicions lynched and I won't cast a vote yet (in case another wagon develops that I feel my vote could help) but I can see the importance of weasel needing to be sorted this cycle. We have around 24 hours, I did promise a wider readslist, which I'm hoping to get up this day turn.
  6. I wanted to do a progression read on one of my suspicions and then later try to do an analysis of other players. My current suspicions lie somewhere in between Toucan, Scorpion and Vulture but the the last two are weaker than the first. My first suspicions on Toucan began from these two posts on Day 2. Out of three posts that day, these were two of them. I felt like Toucan was just trying to give an impression of doing something in the thread when they mentioned me and then removed their vote. I was massively pinged by this as they didn't appear to do this to anyone else and singling me out for the vote on scorpion day 1 when no one had any solid reasons. I thought they could be an elim and trying to appear to be doing some work in trying to make players active but I didn't follow through due to having focus elsewhere i.e. 'PM group' at the time. Night 2, Toucan made a post about keeping an eye on Vulture because of their statement that they would've voted swan at EoD 2 if they had been there. From Day 3: plus another post in which I noticed that they were analysing players and not really coming to any sort of read on them, apart from maybe 1 or 2 players and I made these reads on day 3: As that was quite late in the day, I voted one of the wagons which I was slightly suspicious of, which later ended up getting derailed and I was one of two players on Vulture's wagons at the end of day as I didn't want to bring another wagon up. Toucan later made this post, which made me not focus on them too much the next day as I felt like they were being slightly more villagery than not at that point. After this, a few more posts through the night and day cycle talking about the 'PM group', which I felt everyone was talking about and the elims probably tried their hardest to sow suspicion through it. I feel like what Toucan said about the group can come from both elim and villager. So we move onto day 4 and Penguin brings up a few points and votes me which I addressed later when I came online as I felt they were being taken out of context: Penguin explained their suspicions on me and I tried to explain how he had misinterpreted some of my actions. After another reply from Penguin, that was it for our interaction between Penguin and me. I later came online towards the end of day and voted on Meerkat, especially after I mentioned a few times how important it was for everyone to try and vote. At that point, there is really no meaning in me voting someone else, unless I wanted to appear as though I was 100% sure of someone being elim and trying to swing lynch that way. And then this is the post from Toucan the following night: Toucan made the point about me voting on the wagon when I had other suspicions and especially since one of my suspicions was voting there as well. I think Toucan brings up a good point, but at the time, being really honest, I don't even remember Toucan being there after I saw how many people had voted there and was low on time but I did want to cast a vote for the day. Although I was keeping an eye on them, Toucan wasn't my priority after they carried on being in discussions and doing reads on players. But they make this read on me night 4 and the next day Penguin is dead, who was suspicious of me the previous day and night turns and Toucan votes me very soon after Ostrich casts a vote on me. It seems to me as though Toucan has been progressing towards making this vote on me after being more and more suspicious of me the previous day and night. Whilst I don't think elims go this far to try to get one person lynched, I think it is very possible they try to utilise night kills in their favour and try to get another person on the lynch even if the elims don't try to instigate it. Points in their favour: And some more reads of toucan felt like they were coming from a genuine desire to try to solve players. This gave some reason to think they could be a villager as well. Conclusion: I started off with having a slight suspicion on Toucan, which developed more due to them not having a firm stance and avoiding voting in the initial cycles. The suspicion was lessened after they contributed to discussion in the thread. However, now I feel there's a small chance they could be village but more likely to be an elim. I will vote Toucan for now and possibly move if I think there's a more likely elim. I will try to get my general overview so far of the players up soon.
  7. Just here to say I'm alive and well and getting something up now. I've been rather busy (with exams) but hopefully I should be more active now.
  8. I've just quickly skimmed the thread and looks like we have an elim up for lynch. Ideally, I wanted to talk about my suspicions today, namely; Sunburnt Toucan, Scorpion, and Vulture to some extent. But that will have to wait. Right now, I'd rather as many people get involved in the lynches as possible, as that will give us much more information when Meerkat flips elim than if we don't vote. So Meerkat. And thanks for the mention Flamingo.
  9. Starting my analysis with a summary of Gorilla's post. Could possibly move on to Gecko later as well, as he was the elim kill. First of all, this post felt to me like Gorilla was trying to look at all the angles and wasn't really tunnelling anywhere, if we can call it that. 1. They throw some suspicion on Crocodile, which then seems to have diffused slightly later on when Crocodile posts a response but that's about it on Crocodile from Gorilla. 2. They feel Tuatara is being too elim-like to actually think they are an elim. We know both Gorilla and Tuatara's alignment now to see that Gorilla was correct about them without any bias (e.g. being an elim knowing their alignment) 3. I had to read the response to Zebra's post a few times to actually figure out what Gorilla was talking about there. Gorilla being a villager, at least we can say that Zebra/Gorilla interaction definitely isn't elim/elim here and I would be hard pressed to think it's elim/villager, as I'm leaning villager on Zebra at the moment. 4. After addressing a point and responding to Zebra and Gecko (who we know is a villager as well), Gorilla moves onto wagon analysis. Wagon Analysis : Day 3Tuatara(7): Dragonfly, Beagle, Vulture, Scorpion, Elephant, Toucan, FlamingoHeron(0): FlamingoVulture(2): Penguin, Flamingo, AlbatrossBeagle(5): Kangaroo, Tuatara, Heron, Weasel, Mouse, Gorilla, TuataraOstrich(0): ZebraMeerkat(0): GorillaFlamingo(4): Gecko, Kangaroo, Tuatara, Zebra, Crocodile Gorilla talks about the wagons and gives their reads on various players. They don't find Vulture elimy and feel flamingo/beagle could be villager/elim with the elim lean on beagle. Feels Flamingo and Tuatara wagon has elims in their. Understands Tuatara's vote as self-pres. Gorilla voices their suspicions on Beagle and votes beagle, giving the reason that they want to figure them out and move on basically. Gorilla would've voted Tuatara if not for the Beagle wagon forming. Beagle didn't get lynched and Tuatara turned out to be a villager as well, which now makes sense that Gorilla used their dustbringer action on Beagle. Overall, I feel Gorila was concerned about the whole PM group thing as many others and wanted to sort it out and look at a wider player list. As for the reason for the kill on Gorilla, I think it could be his mention of suspicions of people on the wagon trying to save an elim teammate. I could see this as a possible cause, but two already flipped villager, and flamingo I feel is a villager and Vulture is a slight elim lean. There could be more we could learn but I'm going to move on and if anyone else wants to have a go, feel free. @Chartreuse PenguinI will also address some points here while I'm at it. I'm not really a fan of defending myself when people make a case on me as a villager because they are either an elim trying to lynch me or a villager with tunnel-vision. I don't think this is the case here as Penguins posts give a village vibe yet the points don't really seem to make sense and feel rather like reaching (trying really hard to make it appear like something is a certain way) and I want to comment on them as they seem to have been taken out of context and also make it into a semi-analysis of the Wagons from yesterday. 1. is about parking my vote on vulture following Penguin's vote. My reasons for voting Vulture were entirely my own so I don't really feel as if I followed Penguin and I can't seem to recall Penguins reasons anyway. I will assume here that you missed my post detailing my current reads during day 3 in which I presented my viewpoint on certain players that stood out at the time. I didn't vote my most suspicious reads as it was quite far into the day and I didn't want to bring another wagon up. Stolen Updated Vote CountTuatara : Dragonfly, Beagle, Vulture, Scorpion, Elephant (5)Vulture : Penguin, Flamingo, Albatross(3)Beagle : Kangaroo, Tuatara (2)Ostrich : Zebra (1) This is how the vote count was after my vote, so I don't feel as though I was on a vanity wagon, trying to escape attention as it was very possible at the time that the Vulture lynch could happen. If I felt strongly about Tuatara, I would've voted them initially and beagle was my village read. If I wanted to stay out of the debate, I could've just said I'm not feeling anything and unwilling to vote today. 2. If you want to follow this, I won't say anything tbh. Even I feel there's a chance for an elim to be in the PM group, but again, you say it yourself that you asked beagle an 'what if scenario' of an elim in the PM group and beagle said my name and in return you use that response as a factor in your case. Out of everything, this in particular feels like something an elim would do, as they seem to have set it up so they can cast suspicion on whoever beagle names. And again, it was penguin that asked and then used the response. If there was one thing that I feel seems like elim from Penguin, it'd be this. But even then, this is understandable considering the attention the PM group have been getting so I won't use this as a point to lean elim on Penguin. 3. is the vote count from previous days. As a villager, I feel that one of the best ways to help the village out is to actively vote. No doubt we will vote wrong, but as we learn alignments, we can look back and see the movements and make connections, who was trying to save someone, who was pushing for a lynch etc. So I feel the opposite about this point. And most other players who voted everyday are dead, as villagers. Again, looking at yesterday's vote count and the fact so many players were out to play and then knowing the alignments of two of the wagons helps us much more than people not voting. I feel, and I've said this before, elims are most of the time content to sit out and let the game play out if there isn't an elim up for the lynch. You can disagree with me on this but yesterday we had 18 players who were playing and voting actively. Two of the wagons were village and I think Flamingo is a villager as well. That leaves Vulture, who I feel could be an elim. It also leads me to look at the scenario that Flamingo could be an elim but it's a very small doubt right now like with beagle. I will look back through some of the other players that have been mentioned and that have been escaping attention and make a small analysis and place a vote hopefully (As I have an exam tomorrow so will be busy until after it's finished.) P.s. I don't want to just pursue Vulture today and not going to just use the vote count to damnation them, if they're indeed a villager. I kinda want to hear more from them, after going through their posts yesterday.
  10. Beagle being confirmed villager almost takes a weight off my back, in case I was wrong about them all this time. We've still lost a valuable villager, though. I'm going to try to analyse Gorilla's posts today and see if there's a reason they were targeted. Maybe they had accurate reads or as some people have said, if the elims have a scanner, then they possibly learnt Gorilla was the dustbringer.
  11. I rather doubt that there's a second dustbringer in the game. And if they are, why hold off til now.
  12. Okay this was rather unexpected. The dustbringer was village after all and killed beagle, I'm guessing. Although, this clears up whether the dustbringer was elim or not, it also means we've lost our kill as well.
  13. Making my first night post. I've been rather busy but instead of posting read/analysis, I wanted to talk while we're still on topic. Day 2 Vote CountCoral Swan (5): Oxblood Beagle, Onyx Flamingo, Opal Lion, Magenta Albatross, Sapphire Elephant, Indigo WeaselOnyx Flamingo (2): Coral Swan, Plum RhinocerosIndigo Weasel (1): Amethyst ScorpionMint Heron (1): Ivory DragonflyPearl Chameleon (1): Violet AxolotlTaupe Gecko (1): Sage Kangaroo Day 3 Vote CountCream Tuatara (7): Amber Vulture, Amethyst Scorpion, Onyx Flamingo, Ivory Dragonfly, Sunburst Toucan, Mauve Crocodile, Sapphire ElephantOxblood Beagle (4): Mint Heron, Turquoise Gorilla, Azure Mouse, Indigo WeaselOnyx Flamingo (3): Sage Kangaroo, Quartz Zebra, Taupe GeckoAmber Vulture (2): Chartreuse Penguin, Magenta Albatross This was actually my first time in a PM group like this in a game. When I was approached, I offered a few opinions, which I have also stated in thread but maybe a bit more in depth. I wasn't aware of a group forming at all until it was made and honestly I didn't mind. I had a village read on onyx and beagle and was willing to trust Elephant and Ivory (I was leaning village here anyway) I don't want this to be an attack on anyone but I feel I should express this point. As I was catching up on the thread, the Pm is being made out to be a big conspiracy and maybe it is. It only took 5 votes to lynch Swan after all. Out of a game of 27 players, 5 votes lynched a player. I think the main reason this happened was because players weren't active in the first place. If anyone looks back through day 2, there were others online and posting at the time when the swan lynch was taking place. Granted, the Pm wasn't talked about then. Regardless, no one was willing to make a stance or commit to a wagon. We can argue it was rather early. Apart from the votes on Swan, we had 4 vanity wagons. Everyone even had their individual reasons for voting swan as well. And some players even unvoted others and just watched the whole thing unfold. And then we find out about the Pm and more and more people are pressing the matter and honestly I think due to this a few players are escaping attention (btw I've seen your posts, Zebra and Chameleon). When everyone voted swan at the end, I found that villagery as I doubt the elims bring that much attention to themselves at that point in the game. I mean, looking at how many people had votes, If there wasn't an elim wagon up for lynch, the elims can sit out, do nothing and a villager still gets lynched. The one that was most suspicious was axolotl but due to their post, we decided to remove our votes but just completely removing our votes at that point during a day is rather meaningless, as we build up to a point where we have a lynch that we think could give us an elim. End of day 3 votes has a lot more players out to play. I feel this kind of situation occurs when there's a possible elim lynch. The elims will be making a move to save their teammate and more viable wagon options actually appear. If I was around at rollover, I would be definitely thinking at that point that tuatara is an elim considering how beagle and onyx ended up getting votes as well and they're my village reads. But the outcome makes sense with votes as they would rather pile on one wagon so save a teammate rather than on two separate wagons. Whether more players being active was due to the 'PM gate incident' or because everyone has more time, is something I don't want to go into. What I'm trying to say is that day 2, a few players were trying and we ended up messing up and lynching a villager. Ivory has given a full account of what happened. And it'snot like it was pages and pages of planning to try to get swan lynched. It was literally: 'Oh damnation, what!?? Axolotl!?? are they serious?? we can't vote here today!! Who's the next most suspicious person in the thread?' and no one else at the time had any consensus suspicions or wagons that they were willing to vote for. (Of course, I understand people being busy, as I have been busy myself with exams). But I just find it a bit weird because there were only 5 votes and not everyone in the PM group even voted. No counter wagon being up makes sense as it was really close to end of day and it was a villager so elims wouldn't make any last ditch effort either. Overall, I'm not denying there isn't a chance for an elim to be in the PM group and it is very healthy for the village to keep an eye here. At the same time, I suggest we also look at more players overall as having this as the only topic might not end well for us. Sorry for going on but it's been a while since I posted and I apologize if I offended anyone. I just feel I had to express this as it's not something I've encountered before and maybe the case for many others as well. Player analysis to come during day time, hopefully.
  14. This is where I'm at currently. The reads are based on mostly the recently active players and some moderately active players. village leans Beagle - Very active in discussion since day 1. Pm'd a lot of players including myself and generally putting themselves at the forefront. Ivory - Similar to beagle in that they are active discussion participant. I feel the posts come off as genuine and in the villagers' best interests. I think the topic of 'new players' can sometimes attract the bad kind of attention as some players, namely vulture, have discussed in detail. So I don't think they play that card as an elim. And then the explanation that they don't want us to hold back on lynch if we feel they're elim goes to affirm this. Overall, their posts feel like pure stream of consciousness that I would associate with a new village player. (not looking down on you here or anything Ivory. Just something I've noticed before) Onyx - Felt as thought they were posting with little regard to what the posts actually contained initially, leading to a few suspicions on them. Pm interactions with them felt as though coming from a villagery mindset especially in regards to beagle whom they initially suspected because of Pms and were willing to re-evaluate on swan but that didn't turn out too well for us. Slight village leans Elephant - Trying to be active and contribute to discussion from day 1. Their interactions with players give me the feel that they are trying to figure them out and their vote movement feels as though it's coming from town. Don't feel agenda-y but I don't know if we can say anyone feels really agenda-y at this point. overall leaning more towards the village pending further reads. Gorilla - Going into reads on players and offering thoughts rather than focusing too much on mechanics (not that that's bad thing) felt like genuine villager concern and solvey attitude. Something I feel comes from villagers as they're talking about their stance and not just trying to blend it. However, almost seems like they're joining the party a bit late and I think there's about 3-4 posts of contents so although I feel they're a villager, there could be potential to be an elim here. Overall, slight village for now. kangaroo - Not overly active but participating in discussion. Some of their posts read great to me but others not so much as they seem to have a carefree tone and feels natural. The recent post on beagle I feel is hard to come from an elim as very few people I feel are overly suspicious of beagle(I have some doubts in the back of my mind but willing to go with them as a villager for now) now so trying to draw suspicions on beagle shouldn't work from an elims perspective, at least in my opinion. Some might disagree with me on this. Beagle said that elims would try to lynch him rather than night kill him but I feel the opposite. 50/50 zebra - It seems to have changed slightly this turn but they seemed to have a habit of making 1 large post at the very end of a turn. Either right before day end or night end and they seemed to contain reads that were only based on actions a full cycle ago. This turn they seemed to have changed that and are making many posts and taking part in ongoing discussion and engaging with more players. So currently I think they have the potential to be village but could swing the other way. Axolotl - Had suspicion on them day2 but we all know how that turned out. I got village vibes from the last few posts at the end of day 2 but I will consider it NAI as that could come from anyone frustrated IRL and will base Axolotl on their actions during the game from now on. Tuatara - I can see some of the cases people have made for them. The push on beagle today after beagle had a vote felt like them trying to get another wagon started and the reasons felt a bit weak. I think at this point, tuatara could go either way and there's chance to be an elim. Vulture - From the discussion and interaction they have had with other players, vulture seems to give off experience and understanding of the game. I put them in 50/50 because apart from their thoughts on one or two players, they have discussed mostly mechanics especially the tendency to keep talking about 'new player' with Ivory gives the impression that they are active and playing but not really actively participating in game talk. I think they could be 50/50 but leaning slightly more elim than village right now. elim leans sunburnt Toucan - Through all of day 2, they did RP, pinged me and then took their vote off me after I replied. I voiced some concern about them that they feel too focused on a narrow player base and I can see today that they are doing analysis on more players. However, it still off because, apart from one or two players, they're not really taking a stance and most of them end with 'overall I feel undecided' or 'not enough to determine' their alignment. And besides this they are slightly suspicious of ostrich and most suspicious of tuatara who is also lined up to be the lynch today but still do not vote them with 'I am not sure'. Now if I look on the other side, this could come from a villager who is not used to taking firm stances but I feel as though it's more from someone not wanting to commit themselves and stay open to going on any valid lynch not their own and not a teammate's. Scorpion - Although this is weaker than Toucan, Scorpion felt a bit off with their tone at the beginning, stiff, for the lack of a better word. Day 2 they gave me a better feel but I want to put them in this section to keep them in mind. The posts today are all saying that they will soon make some analysis but keeps getting delayed. I could see this tactic from an elim who doesn't have much suspicions and wants to stay undercover as long as they are not being talked about. @Amethyst Scorpion I know you've already made a post regarding this but if you feel that you do not have time for deep analysis, then you don't need to do it. We'd rather you just give brief thoughts on the game and maybe one or two players allowing us to form an opinion on you then that would be appreciated. For now, I'll place my vote on Vulture looking at the choices and I think this could possibly give us an elim. Overall, I feel I have more people I think are villagers than elims. Feel free to give thoughts on these reads and maybe talk about angles I may have overlooked, as I'm willing to re-evaluate because I know these could be off the mark.
  15. Unfortunately, I missed the night cycle and the discussion involving the vote swing on swan. I feel I should clarify my position towards the end of day and a few other questions posed to me by @Quartz Zebra I did make a post or two talking about this but in case you have missed it. I'll do more posts afterwards with reads and suspicions. I think I already briefly mentioned my reasons for voting scorpion day 1, which were not substantial on any level, if I'm being really honest. But I felt that was the case with most votes day 1 so I voted scorpion with what little I had to go on. I had a null read on swan at the time and when I was posting, a few people had mentioned their suspicions on swan but there weren't any votes apart from 1 or 2. As I didn't have a firm read on swan, I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon at the time for fear that adding one more vote on could lead to more people piling their votes on and that being my last post that day, most likely. This was obviously turned on its head day 2, which didn't turn out how I expected. Swan stayed as null and their posts didn't seem overly villagery to me. However, swan's suspicion, onyx, was rather villagery, I felt. I personally think swan being the target came from this fact, that they were pursuing onyx with a rather single-minded focus. And where I can see this coming from villagers at times, it's also very possible from elims, going after villagers who have some suspicions on them and not very many village reads. But again, the swing on swan can also be attributed due to the deal with axolotl, whom stood out to some of us as a bigger chance of containing an elim initially. I think Ivory correctly theorises that since we decided to not go for lynching inactives, we will find more things to be suspicious of in the active players and inactives tending to hide on the border and not really put themselves out front. Ivory and beagle fall in this category for me and even onyx to some extent. Which is why I decided to trust them for now even disregarding the PMs. @Sage Kangaroo Regardless of my trust of beagle, I have to say this did occur to me as well but zebra offers an explanation which seems to make sense for now.
  16. Take a pinch hitter if you think so or rest up and carry on playing if you think it will be better. I have some doubts on toucan. Out of swan and onyx, I'll go with swan for now so that it at least clears day 1 up.
  17. Whilst I'd still like some game-related content from Sunburnt Toucan, This might be my last post before end of cycle, so I will vote for Axolotl and if they can tell us font is seriously their only reason for voting Pearl Chameleon.
  18. I'm pretty sure I made my stance clear on the lynch but if not, look at my posts today. I think just passing off a lot of posts as NAI is not a good idea. At least until we get thoughts on the matter from the person. Or maybe posts can be NAI for the moment but we do get to learn more as we progress and we learn more alignments from deaths. I agree with the rest and beagle even explained his reasoning which looks better for him in my opinion. Scorpion, I felt yesterday that you were trying to be under the radar even though you were posting. I get a better feel from your posting today, and that you seem to be solving. I am null on indigo at the moment and liked some of their thoughts but could you go deeper into your reasoning for voting them. Thinking back on this, it seems like Toucan is just here today to mention inactive people and vote them and then remove the vote on their explanation. I realize a few people have been doing this, namely beagle, to get people to be more active. But the above post in particular seems to be implying that players will get active when they're voted upon or mentioned. Reading through, why this stood out and not beagle's, because this is the only thing Toucan has done this cycle and only with me. If possible, I'd like their thoughts on the game state and some reads on people. For now, sunburnt toucan. Also, I'm getting a better feel from Onyx as I am in a Pm with them unless I am overlooking a few things. However, it's enough to make me not vote there for today. Want to hear more from @Sage Kangaroo, @Violet Axolotl. Violet's vote felt a bit bandwagony on coral day 1.
  19. I can't quote for some reason so temporary measures. Night 1, Opal Lion: 'Sorry for the inactivity during the Day, busy weekend got the best of me An Edgedancer was lynched? That's not good, I suppose. I haven't read the Day cycle in detail, so I don't have any insight to offer yet, but I do agree that the eliminators would be more inclined towards a D1 lynch. What I'm not sure about is whether they'd start it or help it move once a favorable lynch started forming' I think elims would definitely want a D1 lynch. But in most cases so do the villagers. In elims case, they could easily blend in with poke votes and just make an environment of voting or just stay out of it altogether. I highly doubt they'd try to start a lynch though, as it would put them on the map and a target to look into in the next few days but not impossible, especially if they plan to go deep. Help move a lynch along is more likely, as even a vote or two would help. But again, with this many players, if enough players are active and voting a villager, would they feel the need to get involved or not. Villagers want a lynch as well as many of us expressed the opinion that it will generate discussion and sometimes, we can see if there is effort to prevent a certain lynch and favour another. I forget the name, but one animal mentioned that elims would want any lynch as long as it isn't an elim and I'd agree on that. Therefore, the play of trying to swing the lynch one way or another will most likely happen when there is an elim that could be possibly lynched. Although for D1, I feel that didn't happen. However, the melon dingo lynch seemed a bit off-side personally, as I was inactive towards the end. Another thing that I want to mention is the talk between Vulture and Ivory dragonfly night 1. First impression was two villagers talking to each other but I think it's possible it could be village/elim interaction, though I doubt it's ever elim/elim. Unless the purpose was distancing. The reason I think is because of the topic of new players and not lynching them. I can't really see a world where that happens between two elims but if it ever is, then the purpose is giving an an excuse not to vote a newer player, which everyone knows by now is Ivory dragonfly. As I have a village lean on dragonfly, I doubt it. I think it could only really be elim/village but apart from this interaction, can't really recall anything of vulture so maybe I'm looking too much into the conversation. That's it from night 1.
  20. Hey just here to say I'm alive and well and going to be more active today. I'm not all caught up with everything so will be going through the thread and putting out some thoughts. To be completely honest, Day 1, I was in the same boat as many. Although I wanted a lynch to take place, the options weren't anything I was feeling too strongly about. why I didn't vote coral was because I felt that there a few people mentioning their suspicions on coral but they didn't seem to have many votes which struck me as odd as it could be an attempt by elims to cast shade on them but not be at the forefront of voting them and letting villagers take the lead. My vote went on scorpion because their tone seemed lighthearted but they had put poke votes out and it felt it could be an elim trying to be active but not really do much. Just existing. But I feel that way as well right now so I can't blame anyone else for posting little. My reasons weren't great but I didn't see anything convincing about the wagons from anyone else either, being day 1,so I justified the scorpion vote in my head on that basis, that if I thought there was an elim from the one posting it could be scorpion. i apologise for the low content posts but apart from having time during the first 24 hours of cycle one, I've been rather busy till now. The initial posts were mainly people just coming into the thread and for a while, it was non-game related stuff. The first actual discussion was whether there should be a lynch or not. I remember commenting on that and expressing my thoughts. When votes started coming in, I voted for the person I felt more sure about than others even though the reasons weren't all that great at that time. I don't want to cast a vote yet until I've read through the thread. For now, I only have a few village leans which I'm not willing to vote at all and some where I won't vote for today.
