It isn't the first time Sanderson did this for an "end battle" in a book. In a Memory of Light, the "Last Battle" chapter is 200+ pages long (78,000 words). When the battles are really engaging, like the end of Oathbringer, I don't mind the long chapters! At this rate I'm curious what the end battles for books 5 and 10 will be like.
