  1. Well, before OB Eshonai could have technically been an antagonist to the main characters and I loved her. I also think that the Unmade are awesome. Odium is fantastically written, Taravangian I almost wish was successful, before the end of Oathbringer. Even Amaram before this book I respected.

Basically, Oathbringer made all of the antagonists awful.

  2. I'm thinking that Jasnah is asexual. I get the thought that she might be gay, but she hasn't shown any romantic interest in anyone. As for her trauma, some of the flashbacks alluded that she was insane as a child. I'm quite curious about what exactly was going on there. Maybe it was abuse by a respected Brightlord at the time, or something else entirely.

  3. I would agree that the avanlaches in general are great. I think the best thing about them is that so much happens you don't feel too bad about not getting the next book for a few years. You get more story development in the last 200 pages of a SA book than you do in entire volumes from other authors. I think my OB and WoR had equally good avalanches. Elantris also was pretty great, although I feel like WB might be my favourite. I think the way everything resolved was just so satisfying. Not necessarily unexpected, and maybe that is why I found it satisfying....

  4. Hello all,

My name is Reilly. I am a long time Sanderson fan as have read all of the cosmere novels multiple times, as well as the majority of Brandon's other works (just missing legion and alcatraz). I have decided to join in to discuss the fan theories, especially regarding The Stormlight Archive, that others have posted or that I have.

    Regarding the Cosmere:

My favourite cosmere series is The Stormlight Archive. My favourite character in the series is Dalinar.

In Mistborn Vin and Ham are my favorites,  and Wax and Steris in the second series.

My favourite Cosmere short is The Emporer's Soul.

Personally,  I am 25 and work in medical research and coach competitive swimming. I was at one point involved in a technology forum as a Global Mod/Admin and was on that forum's podcast.

I look forward getting to know all of you.
