  1. I think Devotion and Dominion are counterparts. Dominion wants everything to subordinate. It is Hierachy, in a way. Devotion, on the other hand, does not rank itself in a precedence. It wants to help and assist everyone, but without subordinating. You can see this intent when you look at the Seons. They also don't see themselves as servants, but as protector. And I think Odium is a pair with Honor. Because Honor wants to bind things. It can also be trust and/or naivity. I suppose that Odium's intent is that thought: "They are bad. I am good." It's the thing that Kaladin feels during the battles. It's the intention to seperate things. Into "us and them", "you and me", or, in the worst case: "Me and everyone else". This is the reason Odium revolted against the other Shardholders: His intent is seperating himself from all the others. His intent is rebellion.
  2. I got the first Alcatraz book for birthday. I read it and found it hilarious. At that time I was looking for a large fantasy epic to get into. As I noticed that there was the Mistborn trilogy by the same author I didn't wait any longer. The Final Empire is still my favorite book of all time, although nearly each other Cosmere book could be a close second.
  3. I've though that war thing over and have come to the following conclusion: There are 3 sorts of conflict during the existance of the New Empire: 1) Some nobels attacking Luthadel (Siege of Luthadel) --> They want Atium 2) Elend trying to find the caches (e.g. Siege of Fadrex City) --> He wants Atium 3) Ruin's koloss attacking cities (e.g. Battle for Vetitan) --> He wants Atium So all 3 conflicts are about Atium. I would indeed call it the Atium War(s). PS.: I'm still sorry about my wording, so I thank those who have corrected my contributions!
  4. I wondered because in the article it is said that it lead to the death of Rashek, though he died some year before. But wouldn't it be more clearly to say "the battle for the Pits of Hathsin"? On the other hand "the battle for Scadrial" sounds more epic...
  5. Okay, I was just wondering, because it I think it deserves an article. Just one other question: And thanks alot @Joe ST! I really appreciate it!!
  6. I'm also new here and I have already edited some articles. But English isn't my native language, so I worry about my grammar. I do my very best though. And then I have one more question, concerning the Mistborn trilogy...
