Hello there, everyone. I figured it was probably time to join you.
I've only read a few of Sanderson's books so far. I tried to read Elantris about five or six years ago, but I had a really difficult time getting into it, and put it aside. Then about three years ago I decided to try The Way of Kings, which sounded like more of my style. I did enjoy the book, but due to RL circumstances it took me forever to read it, and I never really got into it as much as I think I would have if I'd been able to focus on it better.
Anyway, with Oathbringer coming out soon I decided to finally tackle Words of Radiance. I don't know what was different this time, but it felt like everything clicked finally. I absolutely loved it and tore through it much, much faster than I did WoK. Then I found out about Edgedancer and how it's set between WoR and Oathbringer, so I quickly read (and loved) that, too.
Now that I'm caught up on the Stormlight Archive, after I finish Oathbringer I definitely plan to jump into the rest of the Cosmere. So I thought now was as good a time as any to jump on here so I could finally start discussing things with the rest of you.
