I meant by Brandon, not preservation. Although, it is interesting to think if preservation wanted them to be intentional.. I think I agree that that is probably not the case though. Hm, darn. I was hoping there was some sort of connection to the real life metals. I do think it's nice that each pair was an alloy though.

I mostly enjoy learning about what you can actually do with the magic system as well as the reasoning as to why certain aspects do certain things. I just really like figuring out why. I actually hadn't heard of adonalsium, so thank you!

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the metals chosen for each allomantic ability were intentional or not. Is there a reason zinc was chosen to riot emotions? What about steel? Why were certain metals left out, like silver? Does anyone think there are reasons?

I guess I'll introduce myself by talking about how I feel about Brandon Sanderson's books? So, I've read many of Sanderson's books, like Warbreaker, Elantris, Way of Kings, and the Mistborn series. Honestly, Mistborn is basically the greatest series I have read to date. I am amazed at just how much I enjoy it every time I read it. It'd be really cool if I could have some nice discussions about it with people~ I really enjoy talking with my friends about various aspects of the books. I'm really interested in the magic system specifically, I think it's very well thought out and just.. smart. I really enjoy Sanderson's writing and I just thought this forum would be nice to check out~
