  1. Granted, but they are written in an imaginary language. I humbly ask for the power to walk backwards without ever tripping.

  3. You could probably ask some people who have fan art if you can use their's Also, I think this is freaking awesome.
  4. This isn't really an intro (this just seemed like the most logical place to put this..), and I already know the basics of the Cosmere, but I was curious if there was an updated intro to the cosmere for my dad. he has read almost everything, but doesn't know really about the cosmere it self, and I am having a hard time explaining it, the way the realms work, the magic, etc.

    Sel Deathstar

Exactly, would this be enough power? My guess would be yes, because a shard can splinter another shard, And because the landscape is basically a shard...

    Sel Deathstar

So I was reading through shardshovel digging through sel thread, and the got me thinking, is this possible? Let's say for some bizarre reason, Harmony comes to Sel. He then decides to transform the landscape, from the way it is now, flattens everything out, and then draws a massive aon daa into the the side of the planet, and then changes the magic system so that this aon can be “activated”. When “activated”, it would release a massive blast of power, effectively turning the planet into a massive super weapon, or a Death star.
  8. It would take A LOT of Nicrosil/Duralumin, and require the burner to be a savant, but I don't see why not.
  9. I'm guessing the reference to the god beyond was somewhere in the words of founding, and not an actual religion
  10. The final empire was the first book in the cosmere I read, but back when I read it, I thought it was the only book in the series, and I didn't realize the cosmere even existed. A year later, my cousins introduced me to stormlight archive, and then the rest is history.
  11. I believe the fourth is trellism, whose followers who worship trell.
  12. That's what I have ( a kindle paperwhite) and it is really like the only way to read ebooks.
  13. I personally like both equally, because one, I can have a bunch of Sanderson books with me, without having to carry like a fifty pound bag, but there is still something awesome about just holding the book in your hand.
  14. It was just something I made up when I was six (I thought it was cool), and it has just stuck with me for forever.
  15. Mistborn book 1 (I'm not sure whether or not to call it the final empire). What about you?
  16. Hi, I have been kind of observing, I guess, this website for a while, and figured that I should finally make an account. I first started reading Sanderson about 2-ish years ago, and think that the cosmere is fricking awesome. I have read all of the Mistborn books/novellas, Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Arcanum Unbounded, Warbreaker, Elantris, and Emperor's Soul. How ya doin person who is reading this?
  17. I live in Provo, and from what I can tell, you have to be a member of the library, (and pay a yearly fee) in order to get a book there, and you have to go and check it out in person. The library's website plus some other links: https://lib.byu.edu https://lib.byu.edu/about/checkout-privileges/ https://lib.byu.edu/about/checkout-privileges/other-library-patrons/
