Gavilar mentions vibrant listeners in the same breath as radiant humans. Maybe Vibrant is part of the title of the KR equivalent of parshendi. The voidbinding chart implies there are orders, there probably is another name for that group other than voidbringers.

Just like the Parshendi(in alethi tongue) are actually called Listeners.

  2. Welcome @Marelle. As those above me have already said, don't worry about grammar mistakes. I'm French too, so english isn't my mother language either. As for the books not yet available in France, have you tried bookdepository? they have the whole Sanderson collection and offer free shipping throughout the world.

Or a Truthwatcher, or one of those fancy fabrials that somehow use the surge of Progression.

    Spoiler

Yes, you're right. I forgot about truthwatchers

    Spoiler

Are you sure Radiants already had fabrials? I thought they were some recent discoveries from about the same time it was discovered how to bond shardblades

  4. When you are seriously considering naming your animals like some of the characters from Sanderson's books(Protection Dog: Kaladin, Cat: Jasnah etc etc)

When your friend sets you on a "Cosmere Raving Timer" with a limit of five minutes so you don't overwhelm them with too much cosmere information at once

I can actually relate to that; my friends have actually banned cosmere-themed discussions(I still haven't given up on them reading the books someday)

I think that I was partially getting mixed up with Lopen regrowing his arm. I understand that healing oneself is an ability that the Radiants share.

I think that they have some healing power, but they won't be able to bring back to life someone

    Spoiler

    like an Edgedancer could.

  7. Hello,

I am trying to build an Italian community for Sanderson's books and universe; I have since created a site called mattandthebooks.com where I write articles about books (mostly sanderson's), do rereads etc. I wanted to know if I could translate and post this post in order to explain to the reades of said site wht the cosmere is, as I think that this article is very well-written and can be understandable by any who haven't started "studying" the cosmere. I would of course link to the original article here on 17th Shard.

So, if we suppose that Spren can be stabbed in the cognitive real because they have a more "physical form", then if nightblood hit a spren in shadesmar said spren would die, but if nightblood fought against a shardbearer with a living spren(kaladin, for example) in the physical real, said spren would "only" be hurt, or maybe broken(kind of like when the KR oaths are broken). Don't know if I'm getting that correctly, but I suppose that nightblood could act as a hemallurgic spike(because he feeds on Investiture), and so he probably needs a "true" physical contact to "spike" the opponent.
