Silverstrings

I suspect that like our own world around this time, acquiring aluminum from the natural environment is too difficult to be truly practical. But once someone discovered any amount of it, it suddenly became available for soulcasting. Since soulcasting it is so much easier than trying to process it people began to consider it something that's only soulcasted.

I ship Rysn and Shallan. They're both determined young women, learning about the world and experiencing things for the first time. I think they would be really cute together; in better times, they might have traveled the world together with Rysn as a merchant and Shallan as a traveling naturalist. I doubt it's going to happen but it would be really nice if it did. Also, Jasnah is absolutely a lesbian. I have good instincts about these things. I don't know if we've met her girlfriend yet but we will, and she will be awesome.
