If I do anything at all it will be to offer it as a gift and leave her to decide what to do with it. I would never make a big deal over something like this. I haven't even told her that I think she's silly (which wouldn't even bug her) or that I think her current glove looks kinda weird.

Dang, those gloves are cheap. I bought myself some leather driving gloves a while back and the only ones I could find were ~$50. Of course, I wasn't looking on Amazon so maybe that was my mistake. I like those burgundy ones. I'll have to see how long she keeps it up. It could be that I'd only be encouraging her if I got here a nicer set.

My sister is a silly teenage Sanderson nerd and she's decided to wear a safehand glove as part of her daily attire. It's just a cheap magenta knit winter glove and it looks really weird. I don't think I can convince her not to wear it but I could probably get her to wear a more attractive one. I was wondering if anyone knows of some good Stormlight Archive fanart that I could use for inspiration in my design for a replacement. I'm pretty sure she'd like that. From my own knowledge, anyone who wears gloves does so because they don't impede daily work that needs to be done but still preserve "modesty" so it's unlikely for a glove to be too fancy unless it were being worn by someone wealthy but kind of eccentric like Navani. I'm not really interested in spending money on this but I have a large selection of fabrics to work with at home so I think I could whip something up after having some ideas to work with.

Hey everyone, I thought it was about time to register on the forums since I'm an undeniable Sanderson fan. To tell you a bit about myself, I used to read every novel I could get my hands on but after a while I began to feel like all the books that I was reading were basically just iterations of the same story and I quit reading for a few years because I felt like video games had better, more unique, stories. I had a friend who kept telling me to read Mistborn though and after a while I gave in and I was amazed at how cool the magic system was. I have always liked thinking about magic systems and I loved that allomancy actually had rules to it, unlike magic in many other books. I read the whole series in about four days and decided to read Elantris next, which I loved, but was slightly dismayed to find that the magic system in that book was almost identical to one I'd been developing for an RPG I was playing with my siblings. I guess there really are no original ideas. Anyway, I've read everything but Wheel of Time now and I eagerly await more books. I'm not sure what you guys usually look for in an introduction but hopefully I covered it.
