So I read Allow of Law and something struck me about the appearance of Hoid. We see him as the beggar in black at the wedding and be briefly speak to the bride and groom of two powerful houses. But why? Hoid seems to speak and associate himself with the movers and shakers of things. In previous Mistborn books he is talking to Kelsier, Vin, and Elend. IN Way of Kings he associates himself with the king and with the Worldsingers (who seem to be an important group) In Elantris and Warbreaker he directly involves himself with the main characters. In Allow of Law he ignores Wax and Wayne and instead talks to the bride and groom. Why? I think that this was one of the more overlooked events in the book, and that one of the major points of writing this book was for that scene.
