For me i'd say magic is culture related: that said i have an idea for a technomancer-like race that uses magic to empower scientifically created automatons (to say thet truth my inspiration is the dwemer race from the elder scrolls univers? Some other idea about this race i still need to develop. Geographic position foe thia nation would be either an isolated island or on the other sids of the mountains land kind of thing. Anything else...?

Hello all, I have a question(s) or rather something i thought about, i dont know if it was issued before or not though. Hoid, he was of Adonalisium's shardworld (realm) created by this first entity right? And there were discussions about the powers of Hoid throughout the cosmere: being a lightweaver, having breaths and even being a mistborn or feruchimist. My point is: Adonalisum is the origine of the shards right? It/he whatever.. Has it's own investure and by logic Adonalisium's investure could be the overall combination of all investures in the other shards.... Etc Point is, all Adonalisium's creations should have access to his investure i mean they are of his investure (if it's the case like Preservation and ruin created people with their own investure in them), therefore using other powers after the shattering from other shard could be possible right?? Could Hoid be the only one having access to all powers? If so doese this make him close to Adonalisium? If he uses a lot of investure from all the shards could he become a Sliver of Adonalisium? Prety vague questions but that's where my logic got me Thanks for sharing ideas with me.

Hello fellow cosmere brothers and sisters. The section says "introduce yourself", so I'm new on the forum, and i like it so far. I started reading fiction last year and pretty much only Brandon's (mostly). My first crush was and is still the Stormlight archive that i ventured in first, over 1000 pages long for a first fantasy book, with a world very complex and beautiful at the same time, i'm sure some people will know what i'm talking about. I didn't stop there and in less than a years i devoured almost every Sanderson book, ( except warbreaker until now), and the cosmere hit me in the face, shard after shard, lets say. I have a question, or of a speculation about Hoid, it goes like this: Hoid is venturing from realm to realm collecting/doing things, and i remember on one of the FAQ Brandon said (sort of) "that he wasn't affecting the stories of the other book where with his appearance " , (some thing like this anyway). What is he planning? my guess goes directly to his story and the shattering of Adonalisium, Is he perhaps trying to reform this GOD ? or what? And i'm very certain that Odium is after him .(in the words of radiance he sais something about needing to be quick on finishing thing before he comes for him, he referred to Odium as "he"). Had Odium figured out what Hoid is doing? Oh, and one more ( sorry this is long ) , What do you guys think of having other metals each for very Shard (God) , Atium + Lerasium + others, and the potential of their use in Hemalurgy??(Kriss said that it's one art of the most use to the cosmere). Imagine a being spiked with 16 Godly metal spikes?? *shiverrrrrr* Thanks for being part of this great forum.
