I was laid off and was looking for a new author or series in the fantasy/epic area and stumbled upon the Mistborn series in an E-bundle sale for the Kobo. I wasn't sure about it so decided to try the "stand alone" Elantris to see if I liked the author first. What can I say? I am hooked!

I am a new fan of Brandon. I have almost finished Elantris and have already bought the first two Mistborn! I am a new fan of this website. I googled Elantris for some additional information and there you were! I am an older female who has been recently laid off. I also have a shoulder injury and am waiting on a retraining program so that I can find suitable accommodated employment. This leaves me in a position to do lots of reading I am looking forward to spending some of that reading time here with all of you. Cheers Cagey
