Chadwick watched as the man got up and shadows seemed to darken near him, I can do this, hes just a man, I can do this Chadwick dashed towards the man making sure to be watch the axe, ran a sharp circle around him to try to get him off balance, then bit the back of the man's thigh trying to hamstring him @Chasmfiend#1

Chadwick was still trying to come up with any kind of plan when he heard a scream come from the top of the building. Almost without he thinking he ran into the building looking for a staircase, he found one and sprinted up it as fast as he could, which is really really fast. Once he reached the top he saw Amara and two other people, a woman who was holding Amara down, and a giant man walking towards the stairs. Chadwick ran full speed at the man and when he was a yard or two away jumped at and hit the man knocking him over, Chadwick rolled a few feet past the man and got up. @Chasmfiend#1 @Sorana

I remember seeing an aon with the chasm line before, but I don't remember where and I can't find it, IIRC the line was bigger than yours but idk

I think Ethan meant that waffles are the easy choice, because they first appear to better, however those who truly appreciate food understand that the pancake is far superior

When Chadwick had first seen the shadows attack and injure his friends he had realized that this wasn't a fight he could win, so he didn't join. He thought that the others might think he was coward for not fighting so he stayed behind, out of the way. But when Amara was taken and the others weren't going after her Chadwick knew he had to do something, he thought that maybe if he found and rescued her the others would forgive him for not fighting. So he began following the shadow from a little ways behind, it was taking a very roundabout way, trying to lose people that were following it, but Chadwick had a lot of experience hunting things that didn't want to be followed. And he had a secret advantage, his sense of smell was extremely acute, the shadow's smell of wrongness was strong and covered most of Amara's scent but it was still there. So Chadwick followed slowly, keeping his distance and making sure to stay away from areas where the shadow's smell was especially strong, until he found the end of the trail at a tall building. Chadwick didn't know what to do, the place seemed like a base of operations, he saw at least three people coming and going from it. so he sat there and tried to come up with a plan that consisted of more than attack. @Chasmfiend#1 @Vargo Seldon @ZincAboutIt @MacThorstenson @Sorana @kenod
