Can we all just give a collective slow clap for how Sanderson ended this book? Amazing...absolutely amazing!!!

I definitely see Isabella Fuhrman as Vin. She looks the part, was pretty convincing as a pint-sized warrior in the Hunger Games, and *SHOCKINGLY* is actually a teenager! I despise it when they cast someone in their late twenties/early thirties to play a teenager! I see short-haired Josh Holloway playing Kelsier...but I see long-haired Josh Holloway playing Wax!

I recommend Mistborn as a starter for the friends who have a fantasy background! Fineeee, I'll resist! And yes I did convert people (11 that I know of for sure, possibly more from my numerous facebook posts about Sandershon haha!) Over the years I've developed a reputation as "the person with the good book recommendations" so that was enough for a few people to jump in. The others were either swayed by my saying that HP was no longer my favorite book series or my flat out begging them to read it because I knew they would enjoy the books! EDIT: Oh and I recently bought the Mistborn Trilogy as a birthday present for one friend who was being particularly stubborn - so I basically guilted her into reading the books haha! She is currently working her way through them and loves them! And that decides it, I'll try the Rithmatist next!

Cookiesssss!!! So...hard...to...resist... I've actually converted a few new Sanderson fans because they were in shock when I told them HP was no longer my favorite series! I have read the Reckoners (I personally consider that series to be "Sanderson 101" and recommend it as the first Sanderson books that my friends who do not have an extensive fantasy background should try - Stormlight might be a little overwhelming at first haha!), but I have not read Alcatraz or the Rithmatist! I'll have to give them a shot once I finish Arcanum Unbounded.

Thus far, the Stormlight books are definitely my favorite (after the second read through it surpassed the HP series as my favorite book series - something I thought could never happen!) the world-building in that series just clicked with me and I fell in love! Thank you for the offer to send me Warbreaker and Emperor's Soul, I already own Warbreaker and I just received my copy of Arcanum Unbounded in the mail yesterday so I have Emperor's Soul now too. I cannot wait to dive in!
