    The Krell

In their eyes it's kill or be killed though. I can't blame them for that, from the history that we learned.
  2. I'm thinking we won't see this until the Warbreaker sequel. Although Sanderson has said one of the reasons Zahel went to Roshar is because it is much easier to get investiture for awakening on Roshar than Nalthis.
  3. I was trying to find copies of non-cosmere works. I can only find audio books or kindle versions. Are there paperback or hardcover available anywhere?
  4. I believe the first place the Bands of Mourning are mentioned is towards the back part of Shadows of Self. Wax is about to meet up with Tensoon in the caverns. He is walking through a museum and mentions them. What I was interested in though is he also mentions Harmony's Bands. "Most were part of the museum, and contained plaques with quotes from the Originators, written in metal. Others contained depictions of the rebuilding of the world, or other relics such as a replica of both Harmony's Bands and the Bands of Mourning." Are Harmony's Bands something special along the same lines as the Bands of Mourning? It's in the same line as the first mention as the Bands of mourning, so I thought they might have some importance. They could also just be Sazed's braces from Era 1 though. I didn't think Sazed's braces were that special compared to any other feruchemy braces. Anyone heard of anything about these or is it just assumed they aren't significant?
  5. One question I have since it's pretty wells stated Kelsier is alive. Why would Kelsier leave the bands at the temple? Since Kelsier is alive, wouldn't those be very useful to have in whatever shenanigans he's pulling currently?
  6. It's been a year or so since I've read warbreaker. These might have been answered somewhere in the book, and my googling skills could be lacking also. I have a few scenarios. If a rope was told to "hold things", and the person who invested the breath was killed, what would happen to the rope and the breath? Would the rope hold things for all eternity? Would the rope revert back to being a normal rope? Does the breath just disappear? Can someone else take in the breath? In a similar scenario, what if the rope was destroyed? Does the breath return to the person that invested it, is the breath destroyed, is the breath just floating there for anyone to grab up, or is there another option? My original thought was what would it take to turn Nightblood back into a normal sword, if it was even possible. Then I realized I was confused about breaths in general.
  7. I'm going Szeth over Adolin. Adolin is just too moral compared to Szeth, and some of the other Knights Radiant. I also think Szeth is going to come back even stronger in the upcoming books.
  8. Mistborn during Hero of Ages. Superpowers over normalcy any day. I know what it's like to be a normal citizen already. Would you rather be Sadea's boot shiner or have to clean up a pile of chasmfiend waste?
  9. I like this question. I have a feeling that maybe the Cosmere happens to be special since Brandon is writing about it. Maybe, a long time a ways, Brandon could write about other galaxies parallel to the one the Cosmere speaks of.
  10. A drab, I guess I like my arm more than color? Would you rather Dalinar or Wax be killed?
  11. Kaladin x1 Wayne x1 Hoid x1 Lift x1 Allrianne x1 I call this nomination team Kaladin's Comedy Clique. Kaladin because he is my favorite character in the Cosmere (and the alliteration was too irresistible). The rest are characters I often found humorous.
  12. Does anyone know who book 3 will follow? I vaguely remember reading somewhere that books 3, 4, and 5 will follow Szeth, Eshonai, and Dalinar. Not necessarily in that order, but I thought Dalinar was book 5 also.
