That was an impressive post, and I have to say I agree with every single one of your points. The fact remains, I don't really like Navani - and that's because of the whole Dalinar/Navani/Gavilar relationship. True, Sanderson may be setting something up for book 3, but it seems unnecessary and just bugs me. I like that she's a character with brains and passion, and it's kind of cute how excited she gets about her new fabrials - but every time I start warming up to her again, she interacts with Dalinar in a way that sets my teeth on edge. I guess maybe I don't like it because Dalinar's relationship with his wife is still just hanging there - maybe if it were resolved, I'd like her more. Fortunately, though, she's not a major enough character for me to really dislike her. We'll see how that changes with Book 3.

Oh really? That's cool! I live way down south in the South Island, further south than Christchurch, haha. Hi everyone, I'm Rielle, and eighteen year old Kiwi (which means I'm online when everyone else is asleep or doing productive things). I was pushed off the cliff into Sanderson by one of my beloved siblings late last year, but didn't actually end up obsessed until I got hold of WoR a couple of months ago, so here I am. I'm a bit of an oddball, as my equally nutty friends could tell you, and am on a mission to make sure my last year of high school is nice and eventful. I love reading, especially fantasy books, and sometimes take a stab at writing a bit myself. Before you ask, it's usually terribly cliché fanfiction for my friends' eyes only. I'm also a tiny bit obsessed with Korean boy groups, but we won't talk about that. Anyway, enough about me.
