While i disagree with you i will admit that it wasnt a great example. And the argument strayed. While testicle might just be more nauseating than vulgar, We are talking about d#.

First, he could have said testicle but he didnt. Second it isnt what you mean, its how you say it. You could either say hi whats up in a very uninterested way or say oh hello how are you felling today. So while it means the same thing, there are two different vibes you get. Same here. Balls is a milder and more polite and abstract way of saying testicles. The same applies here. There are milder versions of saying d#less. So balls is a vulgar concept but not a vulgar word like sleeping instead of sex.

Obviously like i said before, it is subjective and an opinion. But to brandon, who never used language like this before ("curse words", that would make a movie a pg13-r instead of pg-pg13 for language only obviously) he apparently doesnt like using them. So my nitpick is that it is just very out of place since hes never used this terminology before. Its like he asked patrick rufus or brent weeks to write all of the wayne scenes in bands of mourning.

Forsure sel and scadrial. Besides for the full package of abilities unlike roshar and nalthis being the least appealing magic system. Sels is amazing and you can literally do anything, yes with time, and being either a mistborn or feruchemist is of course more awesome than any knight radiant. Especially with atium. I think its a no brainer even though most people chose roshar since its a more famous book and magic is used a lot more than in elantris. Theres still a bunch of spells in sel that we dont know yet.

I dont mean appropriate for wayne. I mean appopriate for wayne now after two relatively clean books. And also from brandons style of writing it just seemed off point seemingly to enlighten fans that he could write very dirty. It all just seemed to pop out of nowhere.

An important question is if speed bubbles really effect time or just reaction time. Maybe instead of time speeding up, its the contents in the bubble speeding up and not time.

Thats what i suspected.

I personally think that allomantically burning aluminum would have no effect on tapping feruchemical iron.

Even taking out atium, i think that the fun and advantage of pushing/pulling and speed bubbles and taking away investiture are just clear wins. Plus no downside of being sick. Dont get me wrong, feruchemy is great and has its own stregnths, but allomancy kicks it for me. Plus i am a guy and i cant imagine wearing tons of jewelry.

So i was thinking of way of kings as a movie and thought about the cast. I think that liam neeson would make a great dalinar. Good choice? Any other ideas of cast?

Who would win? A mistborn without atium, or a sand mage with only one gourd of sand?

So in Elends final moments, he burns duralumin with atium. What happened? He couldn't see more than Marsh? Why did he die? What did he see? So my theory is that he saw the whole future at least until Sazeds ascension. He knew that if he survived and killed Marsh, then Vin and Ruin would just be fighting for eternity, but if Elend died, then like Vin said, there was no one else for her to stay alive for, and then she would indeed sacrifice herself to destroy Ruin. Elend saw that Sazed would pick up the powers after and create peace. He even let Marsh live because he knew he would be good in the future, and since it was too late to stop the blow he just changed it course a tad to not kill Marsh. That's why he wasn't surprised to see Sazed as Harmony. Plus he knew that this was the only way he and Vin would be together again. This my theory. Any thoughts?

In book one when Vin pulls in the mist to beat lord ruler, how does she do it? Sazed said in book three that he doesn't yet know and that she should have only have been able to do it after she drew in the well. So how did she pull on it, especially since it wasn't a gift by Preservation? Theories 1) She wasn't able to merge with Preservation until after the well, but she was allowed to draw a limited amount in due to Preservation choosing her as his successor. 2) She was Connected to him enough at the time to just draw them in without his consent. (similar to the first one). 3) Ruin needed her to defeat lord ruler in order to be free. So maybe Ruin, or rust/trell or some other being who was able to manipulate the mist drew them in onto Vin in order so that Ruin could escape. This would make sense according to the comment that while Ruin couldn't destroy the mists, he could make them stronger. Any other theories or suggestions on this? I am very curious.

Does being in a speed bubble change your aging or would it stay the same as in outside the bubble?
