Lynch has mentioned that he is battling depression before....I give him a pass. Rothfuss not so much...

Lots of threads on books to read...
Lots of good books mentioned here.
Currently listening to Book 3 of Pierce Brown Red Rising Series and have really enjoyed them and I am not a big SF person.
I liked Peter V Brett's The Demon Cycle...He just finished the 5 book series.
Brian McClellan Powder Mage books are excellent
I loved Anthony Ryans Blood Song but hated the other 2 books in the in the Ravens Shadow series. His new Series Draconis Memoria is pretty good. Have enjoyed the first 2.
Michael J Sullivan's Books are all great.
Scott Lynch Gentlemen's Bastard series as good...As is Jim Butchers Codex Alera...

Keep checking UK Amazon for used books....the WoK HC shows up occasionally for a decent price...I have bought 2 copies for under 50 bucks each from there...
Have you checked Bookfinder?

There is a topic on the forum about this already but try Brian Staveley's Unhewn Throne and Brian McClellan's Powder Mage trilogies. Both are outstanding and finished.

I put the Dust Jacket in a Brodart protector when I get it and usually read it on but if I travel with the book I leave the DJ off

Brandon doesn't usually add signed books to his site until they've been out for a year.
There are usually signed copies available from Weller Book Works, which you can order ahead of release. Usually they don't arrive until a week or two after release, so I buy an ebook copy as well. If I recall correctly, Brandon said Oathbringer orders from Weller should start about two months before the release date.
The last 2 releases you have had to buy the Weller Book Works release through his website. With a donation to Waygate Foundation if you want more than a Sig on the book...Totally worth it...

Right now I have the Audio Book preordered through Audible....Have 2 Copies of the UK Edition ordered through Book Depository and will order a copy or two of the US Edition through Brandon's website when they put it up late October..
I spend 2 hours or so a day in the car so will probably start with the Audio book..

Brian Stavely's Unhewn Throne Trilogy
Michael J Sullivan Ryria Revelations
Both are finished and great reads

The problem with state of Sanderson is he comes up with new ideas that move to the front and push some of the long awaiting sequels back

Reckoner Books were around 125k each? So assuming 60 or so writing days for Apocalypse Guard? 3 or 4 months to write once he gets started? So finished around December with touring for Oathbringer? Would think fall 18 for Apocalypse then spring 19 for Mistborn 7. Of course he could throw a wrench and write Rithmatist 2

Still Love Graphic Audio....Wish they would get more authors and series. Was a little annoyed on how long it took them to get out all 5 parts of Words of Radiance though

Not sure if this is the right place but Lee Moyer is putting together another print run of his Book of Endless Pages dust jacket. If you contact him via his website you can find out more. Quoted me $25 in December when I asked out them. Got an email today asking if i was still interested. Just thought I would let people know

I love the Graphic Audio editions. Have all of Brandons. Agree not cheap but do have great covers. Going to start Shadows Beneath tomorrow after I finish the last disk of Bands of Mourning. Lots of Brandon's work coming!

Couple more...john gwynne, joe abercrombie and mark lawrence. Abercrombie and Lawrence are more GRRM than Brandon though

I think he is talking about the subpress edition. I was lucky enough to get a lettered. Hopefully getting it

What does everyone think of them? I have listened to everything of Brandons that is out from them and really enjoy it. Only gripe is they are a little expensive. I have a 45 minute commute every day and listen to audio books instead of radio. Listening to Bands of Mourning regular audio book now. They have WoK coming soon. Can't wait!

If you are referring to the Sub Press editions only believe there is a single printing of them all. Is that what you are looking for?
