Any theories on where Brandon is taking Wit/Hoid in this series? At times he acts like he's just there for the ride, telling Kaladin stories to help him get through his struggles, but then at other times he seems incredibly calculating. Any theories on where Brandon is taking Wit in the later books?

So Bands of Mourning is book 3 of 4? I was under the impression that Wax and Wayne's story was a mere trilogy. Does that mean we should expect good Uncle Edwarn to return for the grand finale, aka The Lost Metal?

Any thoughts on how Stormlight 3 will push the story forward? And why I'm asking is that we've had two big books involving massive battles with the Parshendi/Voidbringers and after the finale of the second book, I'm thinking we're going off in a new direction. Any thoughts?

It has been confirmed that Perrin ends up becoming King of Saldaea.

On my first read through The Way of Kings I didn't think too deep into what each character was doing or saying. I was reading what was written and enjoyed it for the story it was. However, on my reread I began to think deeper about what was really going on. One thing in particular that struck my interest was the ending. Hoid was expecting Taln, one of the Heralds, to show up and then he calls him his old friend. This could just be Hoid's way of addressing him or it could be something deeper. How did Hoid know that Taln would be showing up? How did he know who he was? And finally, who is Sigzil? We know he was an old apprentice to Hoid but what did that entail? Is Sigzil more than what we think? What do you guys think? To make things clear to those who may know about Hoid than I, the only books I have read by Brandon are the Mistborn books and Way of Kings. If there is more to Hoid that you can add to this conversation then please do.

Just came across this guy once again in my reread. Certainly one of the more interesting characters. What's his deal? Any theories as to what he's about?

On the wiki, it says that in Well of Ascension, Hoid meets up with Spook and Elend on their way back to Luthadel. How do we know this? Thanks.

Is the story arch of the second set of books going to be completely different than the story in the first 5 books? Brandon Sanderson It will focus mostly on different characters, with some appearances by characters from the first five. I wouldn't call it a different story, more a sequel. I discovered this on Theoryland.com interview database. Sounds interesting.

So it'll be a, "five years later" type of deal when book six begins?

So what is going on with the whole, first five books of Stormlight being one set and the second half being another? Is there going to be a partial ending after the first five and then book six will begin a new area of the story? I've discussed this with others before but it still wasn't that clear.

I keep forgetting that a few chapters have been released. I told myself I'd wait until full book is released. That is fascinating though.

What is the deal with these things? What role will they play going forward? Any theories?
