  1. But the way Szeth thinks about his situation, It seems like the Stone Shamans actually are in contact with the stones.
  2. So, as we all know, Parshendi see the Unmade as gods. The Shin worship rocks. What's the similarity? While rereading SA, I noticed this Death Rattle: I see them. They are the rocks. They are the vengeful spirits. Eyes of red. This seems to say that the rocks are alive, and not too happy. From what Szeth has told us, the spren of the rocks told them lies, namely, that the Voidbringers were gone. Could it be that the Unmade have possessed the stones, and been passing false information to the Shin?
  3. I have a crazy theory that it will be Dalinar, as there's a WoB that Honor and Cultivation were *ahem*, involved, and Dalinar's "dead" wife fits somewhat with Cultivation's description (or at least the Nightwatcher's).
  4. How hasn't Andrew been banned??? I will feed him to Nightblood, although I doubt even Nightblood will even be able to digest his Investiture.
  5. Oh my Hoid, I just summoned Odiumspren. How does this "Andrew" (and aliases) even exist?
  6. Also, the Body Focus correspondes with the magic systems. The Body Focus for Lucentia is the eyes, and on Roshar eye color is a big thing. For Foil, the Body Focus is the nails, but if you interpret this as another kind of nail, you get something seen on Scadrial...
  7. I think that we're looking at this theory the wrong way. Instead of each Shardworld's Investiture based on each Essence, the idea of the Ten Essenses could have arisen from worldhoppers from each planet. As the Heralds are associated with each Essence, I think it likely that they were originally worldhoppers before becoming Heralds. After becoming Heralds, they could have included information about their respective Shardworlds in their pre-Vorinism religion. Vorinism can be considered relatively new compared to events like the Shattering and planet formation, and it likely is mostly made up doctrine initiated after the breaking of the Oathpact. The idea of Essenses is likely a fragment of information about the Herald's origins that survived the Hierocracy to become part of modern Vorinism.
  8. Maybe the Highstorms are what's left of Honor's Shardpool.
  9. I think it would have been cool if Roin was the one to take down Szeth. Instead of there being a fight that seemed to soley exist to show off the Syl-changing-into-every-weapon ability (seriously, she changed into at least 5 different weapons in a single chapter), it would have been more of the ordinary guy trying to do the right thing actually winning for once. Imagine if practically invincible Szeth was taken down by non-shardbearer Roin.
  10. Iyatil seems like the perfect candidate. Could that mask be hiding a accident in the kandrification? The skin seems to have grown around it, which a kanda could easily do.
  11. Oh, I thought you meant 7 = The Shin's + Szeth's
  12. When Szeth says "the other seven," it might mean the seven + his. But good point. Maybe Nalan already has his.
  13. At the beginning of WoK, Szeth sees Gavilar talking to a man with a pale scar on his cheek (Nalan) and a short Alethi man. In WoR, Jasnah sees the same two talking about a Blade (the Alethi man calls it his "masters Blade.") The Alethi also says, "I'm worried about Ash. She's getting worse. We weren't supposed to get worse..." "Ash" is part of "Shallash." We know that the man with the scar on his cheek is Nalan, a Herald, and we know that Szeth has Jezrien's Honorblade. Could the Alethi man be some kind of servant of Jezrien's, and could they be talking about his Blade? In an interlude in WoK, Baxil and the one he calls "Mistress" are destroying works of art. He notes that the "Mistress" is very beautiful. One of the pictures of the Heralds is the first thing destroyed. Could this be Shallash/Ash? Shallash is the Herald of Beauty, so maybe she hates anything beautiful? In the interlude in WoR where Nalan chases Lift, she notices that one of the Heralds in a picture has been scratched out. Could it be that the Heralds hate the pictures of how they were in the past? Each Herald has seem to have changed; Shallash now hates anything beautiful, Nalan overexaggerates punishments, and the rest seem to have abandoned what they stood for. Only Taln, now insane, attempts to warn the Alethi about the Desolation. Could it be that Nalan only wants Szeth to kill the Shin with the Honorblades so that he can recover them and give them to the other Heralds? The Shin have 8 Blades, all of the Honorblades but Szeth's (Jezrien's) and Taln's. Nalan is seen glowing faintly, but could his Blade increase his powers, rather then giving them to him? The Heralds, evil and with Honorblades, could be even worse that the Voidbringers, especially if they side with them.
  14. You: Syl, where is the nearest Horneater restraunt? Syl: I need a compliment. You: You are beautiful and articulate. Syl: That's a statement of fact. Deleting all photos.
  15. Also, if you turn it on its side it kinda looks like an "S". Sanderson, maybe?
  16. Shardplate is powered by gemstones with Stormlight. When Kaladin uses a Shardplate helm as a glove, it drains away his Stormlight. What if when the Radiants used Shardplate, it ran on the Stormlight in their bodies? Shardplate might even be able to store Stormlight inside it, hence the glow Dalinar sees in his visions.
