KalAzure doesn't seem impossible, in that she's the only other available age appropriate woman he seems to have an existing rapport with.

We don't know how much time passed since Warbreaker, so we have no idea how old she is. She could be a centuries old returned by now. I admit it's unlikely, as she seems to remember her royal upbringing, but it's not impossible.

I feel like for that to happen, Shallan is going to need a very quick change-of-heart regarding the Ghostbloods. She loathes them, specifically because she thought they killed Jasnah.

Unless Mraize produces her brothers very quickly, I see Shallan immediately confiding in Jasnah and taking on the role of a spy within the Ghostbloods.

I don't really see her confiding anything in anyone. She's going to keep it all to herself, try not to think about it too much and maybe split off another persona that can lie to her friend's face.

That does not look like a lion. Very interesting as a whole, though. Is this some inside artwork from OB?

It made me think of medieval depictions of lions, drawn by people who only had the animals described to them.

I agree that crem deposits would be very common in all of Roshar. So if that is all there is to it, why is the rock of Urithiru so notably different than other rock?

It just hit me. Urithiru is described as being above the storms, with mechanisms to lower the spheres for infusing and all that. It can't be crem deposits, unless it was somehow built at lower elevation and then risen up.

  5. Wait, is it confirmed that radiants need to snap to form Nahel Bond?

Either way, her mother was willing to kill her. Take a minute to let it sink in. One could come to a conclusion, that their family wasn't all sunshine and rainbows even before her mother learned about Shallan's abilities.

Or maybe in Oathbringer we'll learn how she killed all of her grandparents too.

  6. The conversation between Jasnah and Hoid at the end of WoR is my favorite one.

She studied him. Then the sword burst to mist, vaporizing. She lowered her arm. “I don’t have time for you. A storm is coming, a terrible storm. It will bring the Voidbringers to—”

    “Already here.”
“Damnation. We need to find Urithiru and—”
    “Already found.”
    She hesitated. “The Knights—”
“Refounded,” Wit said. “In part by your apprentice who, I might add, is exactly seventy-seven percent more agreeable than you are. I took a poll.”
