Yes. But having a gem implanted in you doesn't mean that a bond of any kind will form. As for Nightblood, I'm not sure if it uses a bond to communicate but it does have a bond with Vasher since he used Nightblood unsheathed, it's why Vasher never feels sick or compelled to kill around it.

I'm not sure blowdarts would have much of an effect on a Pewterarm. It would have to be a really strong poison and you would have to get fairly close to use the blowgun. Plus, since Pewterarms are incredibly fast I would rather have a weapon that lets me put a little space between us.

Actually in Alloy of Law a character named Ranette made bullets exactly like what you described, only she used ceramic tips, which would be cheaper and eliminate the need for all the metallurgical research needed to get a strong aluminum alloy. That was actually a pretty important point in the book, until then nobody knew of any aluminum alloys that were durable enough for guns and bullets but still inert to Allomancy.

I would say Allomantic Pewter and Feruchemical Zinc. A strengthened mind to go along with a strengthened body. After all, what good is superhuman strength if you cannot properly apply it?

This is a really cool theory. Especially how Chasmfiends might use Stormlight to pupate. I'm not sure about the artificial gemheart part, even if you had a gem implanted in you (which does raise some interesting points about the stored investiture) I don't think the gem would grow or that a spren trapped in it would bond you to it in some way.

Hi everyone! I was first introduced to Brandon Sanderson's works through my dad's old Wheel of Time books. I then started reading his books and still can't stop. My favorite series is Mistborn, my favorite book is Way of Kings (Words of Radiance and Hero of Ages are closely tied for second place), and my favorite novella is Sixth of the Dusk.
