I've always been terrible with intro posts, so here it goes.
My roommate let me borrow The Way of Kings last April, and I've been hooked ever since. I've read WoK, WoR, Warbreaker, the Mistborn Trilogy, and the Alloy of Law. I have Elantris and The Emperor's Soul sitting on my desk waiting to be read once my semester is over. Outside of reading, I'm a graduate student studying Genetics (last semester of classes thank god). I enjoy playing Civ V, Crusader Kings II (I'd make a Roshar mod if I was any good at modding lol), and a few online nation builder/politics games that are alliance/guild based.
I'm joining 17th shard because I'm a sucker for fan theories and will inevitably spend hours scouring these forums (I read ASOIAF as well and peruse /r/asoiaf frequently).
