  1. I am currently planning a book, and have just finished naming the main character. The only problem is, I don't really know whether the name is good at all. It could be terrible. The name is Sariath Leannavar. A quick response to assure me that it is good or warn me that it is terrible would be appreciated. Thanks.

  2. Can someone explain what exactly you do in roleplaying like this? I've never done it before, and was thinking I might join this depending on how much available time I'll have over the next while. Also, how spoilery will this be, because I'm not finished watching all of the series yet.Thanks.

  3. I actually fear quite a few things. Recently I have feared that I will live my life alone due to lack of social skills. Also, I worry about physical illnesses that cause great pain and mental illness. I feel like it would be horrible to not have total control of your mind.

My most irrational fear is, don't laugh, dogs.

  4. I think she warned me about that. I'll keep that in mind.

The world is... really random. I don't think I need to elaborate on that. I was like.. that. That is a sabertooth. And theres a talking turtle. And. A shapeshifting talking pig. Okay. Okay. And what is that cat thing? That apparently also shapeshifts? It hops. I like it.

But I am enjoying the plot thus far.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. Who is the shapeshifting cat? You might be talking about Puar, but I'm not sure.

    I'm glad you're enjoying it.

  5. Yeah, that would be what I would do.

So one of my friends and I are doing a trade. She's gonna read Mistborn if I watch Dragon Ball. An 80s anime. I'm about 7 episodes in, don't understand a thing about this (those people didn't do a lick of worldbuilding nothing makes sense) and I'm still trying to decide if its a kid's show or not.

It's meant for people around 12-14 years old. It's one of my favorite shows. I recently started watching it for the second time when a new series was announced. If you make it far enough, I recommend skipping Dragonball GT. It was mostly made by different people, and wasn't nearly as good. The new series is basically pretending it never happened.

Why don't you think the worldbuilding is good?

    Hope you enjoy watching it.

  6. Yes, it's a great show. The first one or two seasons weren't great, but after that it got amazing. That being said, it does depend on your preferences. The first couple seasons were quite a bit more lighthearted, and the later seasons became more serious.

For the most part I would say it is age appropriate, but I could be incorrect on this. There are some scenes and characters that could be scary for very young children, and some deaths. Also, there are a few decapitations (no blood). All in all, I would say the age rating greatly differs from episode to episode. Some are obviously geared towards children, and some are not.

The first couple seasons are definitely appropriate though.

Overall though, I would say it is worth the watch. If you're watching with small children, I suggest watching for a while with them, and then if you see anything too violent for them, decide whether to keep watching or not.

  7. At what time period is this for Goku? Because most recently, he has been shown to be able to hold his own against gods.

Goku gets killed by anyone with a Shardblade. He never uses his full strength at the beginning so would be easy enough to hit. The Lord Ruler kills him easily as well. He is as fast and strong if not faster and stronger. Vin at the time you state is effectively a God so she wins.

Goku is many, many times faster than the speed of light, and could lift 40 tons (80,000 lbs) while flying without being a super saiyan. As a super saiyan he was shown being able to lift the 40 tons effortlessly. Since then he has powered up to be able to become a super saiyan 2, 3, god, and god beyond. Therefore, I think he could beat The Lord Ruler in a fight.

  8. Marvel or DC?

What's your favourite Marvel Comics team?

What's your favourite DC Comics team?

(Forgive my spelling of favourite, that's how it's spelled where I'm from.)

  9. Correct as usual, KamorianKandra.

(Sorry about the delay. Your guess must have posted while I was composing my hint, and I didn't see it until just now. Does it count as being double ninja'd if you don't notice until after going back to edit your post twice?)

I am glad to know I'm not the only one who used to watch that show.

Actually, I've only seen the show once, a few years ago. I don't remember exactly why I was watching it, but I was. Anyways.

A young man leaves his home for many years, and finally returns using a combination of both ancient and modern technology to murder the corrupt in his city.

  10. Don't let the reputation determine what is right or wrong, only what is of popular opinion. Maybe you are the only one with your opinions, but you may very well be the only one who is right. And its your opinion. If we correct our opinions until all opinions are the same, we miss out on awesome discoveries!

I would like to see a three-color rep system. Red for the Dark Side of the Force. Green for the Light Side. Blue for the Cool Side. B) There could be a sweet blue arrow that does a loop.

I didn't read the bottom part of your post, and so got really confused when I saw the blue button. After pressing it 5 times with nothing happening, I realized how stupid I am.

  11. I'm sorry. :( If he values your friendship, I doubt you just lost a friend. He may have felt as awkward as you did. If you give it time, I think chances are good he'll come back.

You know what? You made a little mistake- it happens sometimes. But I think if you let him know that you realized that, he'll understand. Shoot him a text saying that you were feeling a little off that day, and give him your apologies. I bet he'll understand and still want to be your friend. :)

Ditto. Id reccomended calling and talking to him, do something to keep up the relationship (cause it sounds like you haven't? ). All it takes is saying 'sorry I did really want to see you, let's do x instead' , like play a multiplayer over the internet together or something.

    Good luck!

Thanks a lot guys, I'm going to talk to him about it and apologize

Hopefully him and I will be able to meet up sometime soon.

  12. I'm mad at myself.

I used to have this best friend, but then he had to move away to another part of the city. That was about two years ago, and although we've meant do something together for a loooong time now, it's never worked out.

Today he was in the area and stopped by my house.

I haven't seen him in a long time, so I was a bit awkward. Also, when he asked me what I was doing before he came over, I told him I was doing homework.

He took this, along with my awkwardness, as me saying I needed to get back to my work immediately(which was not my intention whatsoever)...so he said, "OK. Seeya," and left.

I finally had the chance to see him again and I accidentally acted rude.

    *sigh*

I really hope I didn't lose a good friend just now, but I probably did.
