Hi! I'm Barold! I've been reading Brandon Sanderson for at least 10 years now. I started with The Way of Kings and since then I've read every Cosmere book EXCEPT White Sands and Wind and Truth lol (I'm in the midst of my Stormlight re-read because I procrastinated it too long.) The Cosmere is my fav series out there. It honestly feels like what Harry Potter was to me as a kid and waiting for book 7 of that series to come out in high school. I've read a bunch of fantasy since then and love a lot of stuff (A Song of Ice and Fire is my second fav, I think) but I had that realization the other day that Branderson's stuff is for me as a sometimes cynical, world-weary 34 year old dude what Harry Potter was for young, angsty me hahaha. It's a good feeling to have that. I'm kinda yapping now haha. Glad to be here. Not sure how active I'll be, but since I don't really have any friends who've read Branderson's stuff, I figured I'd hop on here. A little more about me personally: I'm 34, he/him, , love video games and reading...uh...any other questions, feel free to ask! Haha

Hey guys! I'm not sure if I'm TOO much of a newbie to be here haha..I'm only halfway through Way of Kings and that's the only Sanderson book I've read. But. I'm loving it SO much and I can't wait to devour his other works so I can have some really awesome discussions with you guys! I'm a huge fan of fantasy, favorites being (in no particular order): Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire. Also found in the last few months that I'm a major sucker for Star Wars books. I'm a big fan of Star Wars and never tried the books before last year. Then I read Plagueis. Anyway. I digress. I'm here for Sanderson! Guys. This book is just so good. I can't wait to read more!
