Honestly, I reallly hope this doesn't mean a Stormlight Archive movie franchise. It wouldn't work, there is just too much for a 1 book -> 1 film adaptation. Each book could easily be two films at least, so I've always been of the opinion a lot of Sanderson's work would be better suited in a Game of Thrones style TV series, 10 x 1 hour long episodes (maybe even more than 10 episodes per season). I think Mistborn could work as a movie series, but I honestly think his Reckoners series is more suited for the big screen than any of his other works. But we'll see.

What I don't understand is why, before Firefight, bullets had passed through Prof's gifted shields but it stopped a bullet when Val shot David. Was it not a gifted shield and one of Prof's own? Surely Val would know the Jackets worn by the Reckoners don't stop bullets... As for Prof trapping Megan, I'm not sure. Either the bullet passed through the shield, or through a wall. However as said, there does appear to be some inconsistency with profs abilities.

Is it too close to what Preservation did in Mistborn though with 'snapping' randoms, to see if they could use Allomancy though. A higher being granting people these abilities, with death merely as an unfortunate side effect?

I've been keeping an eye on this site ever since I started reading Sanderson novels last year after a friend got my to read the Mistborn series (who I am eternally grateful) but only really decided to make an account now, for reasons I'm not entirely sure. I just felt like joining in the conversation I guess! I've read *most* Cosmere novels and novellas but not all, Cosmere books I have read are - The Final Empire - The Well of Ascension - The Hero of Ages - Warbreaker - The Way of Kings - Words of Radiance - Sixth of the Dusk - Alloy of Law Cosmere books I have yet to read - Elantris - The Emperor's Soul - Silence in the Forests of Hell Other than his cosmere works I've only read Steelheart (Reckoners), but have plans of reading The Rithmatist at some point too - and maybe Alcatraz. So yes, hi!
