  1. Yes, in the parts where humans are. Like, if they built a massive space station, more space would exist there than elsewhere. It would still be mostly empty, though, so worldhopping will still be possible.
  2. It wasn't enough to stop Szeth, though...
  3. I think it will have something to do with a more powerful pushing metal, like Steel on steroids. We don't know yet all the metals, after all. There are at least fifteen unknown uses of Atium, and I think that this may be one of them.
  4. I love it. I think it may explain a lot about the mysteries of shardplate. Also, maybe the fabrial can only be used by someone with a Naehl bond, tapping into the abilities of the Radiant's spren a little.
  5. Um... That is implied already. Splintered shards aren't a new topic in the Cosmere, and it's happened before. Plus, it was said that Tanavast was 'killed' by Odium, meaning that this is indeed true. Edit: My original post wasn't very diplomatic. I would like to apologize to Relytdragon and anyone else who saw that post. I will keep in mind what happened here next time I consider posting something like that. Again, I'm sorry any of you had to see that. Thank you for alerting me to how negative that sounded. I didn't realize it was so rude until I took a second look.
  6. Wow. Great ideas, guys! I'll admit, I didn't expect this much traction on this discussion. If there are pre-Shattering aliens out there, what if they have some kind of Investiture granted by Adolnasium itself? Or, alternatively, all of the abilities in the Cosmere? Those would make for a wickedly powerful race.
  7. Brandon recently released a statement about what he's doing this year, and in it, he mentioned that when he finished the Stormlight archive, he would write what he dubbed the 'big' Mistborn trilogy, a sci-fi one. That got me thinking, what would happen if allomancers visited other planets in the Cosmere? I imagine there would be battles, perhapse some revelations about Investiture. What does everyone else think?
  8. If that's true, we may have to consider spren morals. The Parshendi care about their seemingly mindless brethren in bondage, the Parsh-men. I know that's different because the Parsh-men are just in dull form, but still, I think there might be more to these 'hunts' than meets the eye. Also, when Pattern found out about eating, he freaked out, so I don't know if that metaphor works so well...
  9. Responding back to the glass/liquid hypothesis, while that does make sense, weren't the blades and plate described as metallic? This may just be something I'm imagining, but I'm certain it's in there somewhere. It could be some kind of metal that follows those properties.
