I've got a weasel as well. I think that test is limited by how few possibilities it has... (Unlike you, though, I am consistently Sorted into Slytherin over and over. Like Twi, I am Slytherclaw to the bone.)

Infidel doesn't really insult me. It's not a compliment, either, it's just...sorta there. Technically, "Heathen" applies to practitioners of Norse religion if it's capitalized. The lowercase version has a more generalized definition. Everything's got a name. Of course, I can't tell you how many times I've said that I'm Kemetic to other pagans and they've given me that empty polite smile that says they have absolutely no idea what that means. -
The Official Thread of Relationships

For the record, there are threads about both religion and gender identity/gender roles kicking around the General board. There are enough newish folks kicking around that perhaps some of you haven't discovered them yet. -
Look up Daisy Head Maisy. (Sorry. I know it's Dr. Seuss, but it's the best I got.)

That makes more sense and tracks with Morzathoth's previously stated theories about my job. Those theories are silly, of course. Redacted, Inc is quite a dull place to work all told. I promise. (Though I do harbor a theory that Kansas City's weirdly twisted road system actually hides a complex glyph that keeps an Elder God slumbering.)

Heh. I think "heretical" is a bit mild for what Twi's parents would call my belief system. -
My mystical pagan practices have brought me into contact with all manner of mysterious mysteries. They're fossilized gremlin tongues. Gremlins inhabit mechanical devices, but when their end is near, they crawl into the back of a cupboard to die in piece. Most of their bodies evaporate into the aether in minutes, but the tongue hardens to a plasticlike substance and closely resembles tupperware lids. Society of Creative Peppiness?

Actually, it's the dryer, and it's not Voidbringers so much as black holes. A very tiny black hole, though, so the most it can eat at a time is, like, a sock. That's what happens to your missing socks. The other end of the black hole is a white hole that opens up into someone's closet. The gravitational forces twist and rend the socks into tangled coat hangers, which are spat out into the closet.

The one about his time being valuable, or the one about the bird?

It's awful. Though at least you seem to be avoiding the ravages of Autocorrect. It makes some very strange life choices sometimes. heeheehee Gods, Trump the Narcissist and his theocratic running mate scare me so much.

ver-SALES It makes me cringe every time I hear someone say it.

There's also a Golconda, Illinois. This caused much hilarity back in college and we were all playing Vampire: the Masquerade. Missouri just likes to steal other cities' names. Mexico, Cuba, Venice, New London, Versailles (do NOT ask how it's pronounced - you won't like the answer). There's even a Texas County whose county seat is Houston. And me? I grew up in Memphis, MO. It's in Scotland County, just 20 miles down the road from Lancaster. Another one of our school rivals was Milan (also a cringeworthy pronunication).

Happy to be of service. James is tall. He just stood up and his head was already above water. -

Some people like to ease prospective mates into their weirdnesses. I push them into the deep end of the weird pool and take notes on how quickly they work out how to swim. -
You're definitely finding most of the right chords. There is, however, a bit of a problem with too many open perfect fifths and fourths; it makes the chords sound unfinished. And it could use a bit more movement in the left hand; shifting to different chord positions would help. And I think there's a missing seventh or two. (You should take some music theory classes if you get the chance. There are a lot of chord and voice leading rules that you just haven't learned about when it comes to writing and arranging parts. It's a lot more complicated than it looks.)

What you are feeling is perfectly normal. Welcome to the standard issue human quarter-life crisis. (And seriously, barring unexpected contact with the Vorlons, nobody is going to be asking, "Who are you?" and expecting you to come up with an all-encompassing answer.) -

Ah, but your interests are not your identity. They're just things you like to do and/or talk about. Your identity is so much more than that; who a person is just happens to be too complex to break down into an easily categorizeable set of things. That's why getting to know someone takes time. And how even after 5 years of marriage, I can ask my husband a question (you know the one, Twi) and get exactly the opposite answer I was expecting. -
Pants on women is totally acceptable in steampunk fashion. It would be, but it fits completely differently. Bodysuits just fit closely all over without any shaping, showing off every bit of pudge one might have for all the world to see. Corsets actually reshape the body, magically turning me from a lumpy apple into a graceful hourglass. I love corsets. They make me into an actual feminine shape. (If only I could just gain weight where women are supposed to. I wouldn't mind carrying a few extra pounds if I had a proper shape.) Thank you!

That would be highly illegal. It was. I figured after all that, if he wasn't scared off, he'd be a keeper. I was right. -

Your interests? Gee, let me see... Books Harry Potter Sanderson Buffy More books You're a librarian, ALL THE BOOKS Marvel movies Costumes Fanfic -
Heh. I think one crazy MLP costume is plenty for now. Though the steampunk idea has merit. I tend to gain weight around my middle, which means that I shiver in fear of what I'd look like in a bodysuit, but a corset, now...that has potential.

Making friends usually starts with finding similar interests. A lot of gaming stores have open board game nights, and they tend to be highly populated with geeks of many stripes. Go find one that happens on a night you can make it, learn some new games, and make some new friends. -
This...is very, very true. Hmmmm.
