Came across this picture in a manga called Fairy Tale, pretty much how I imagine Shallan might look in shardplate and shardblade. Got red hair and ghostblood tattoo and everything! (I don't think she got the tattoo done and it won't look like that, but still)

Of course, it is legendary. I remember someone recommending it to me awhile ago and I thought "What the hell is this crap?", then couple chapters later I was like "damnation, its good". I've been drawing manga style for awhile and honestly I think shardbearers will be absolutely stunning if done right. It will be pain in the chull to draw the plate and sword for everyone but I think it will be worth the effort.

Hello guys, I wanted to run by an idea with the community. While I was reading the novel, I kept imagining how awesome it would be if we can watch the shardbearers in action on a movie, the way they move and attack at insane speeds. Then I thought perhaps I can create a manga based on the series and what Mr. Sanderson might think about it. It would pretty much be a fan fiction in a comic form and depict some of the battles during desolations. I truly respect everything about this series and I don't want to create something that the author might have an issue with, so I would appreciate any advice on what I should do.

Thank you so much for the recommendation, I'll definitely check it out, but I have a feeling that it won't be up to par with WOK/WOR. This is simply the best fantasy novel I've ever read, I cant stop picturing Adolin and Dalinar in their shardplate just destroying people left and right with shardblade, I would love to see it made into a movie/animation!

Hello everyone, I stumbled across Way of King last week and was instantly hooked, managed to just finish WOR just now and I must say, I NEED MORE!!!! I was wondering if anyone can recommend another series similar to WOK / WOR while I wait impatiently for the next book. I'm a big fan of fantasy based mainly on 'Swords' and I would truly appreciate it if anyone can guide me in the right direction.
