Pretty much what it says up top. Who would you cast as what roles if you were casting the Rithmatist? The only person I currently have in my head is Molly Quinn as Melody. She's a bit older, but when has that stopped Hollywood?

For Alloy of Law, can anyone else see Hugh Jackman as Wax? Mid-40s, but very fit.

So. We know that at least part of Nightblood's wonderfully terrifying personality is that it was given a very vague Awakening command ("Destroy evil"), and if I remember correctly another part of it is that it's a sword, and there's really only one thing that you *do* with a sword, so that shaped its mind, too. What sorts of effects might you get out of an Awakened item with a different shape and command? A shield instructed to "Defend the innocent" or a pen told to "share knowledge," for example?
