  1. Can't tell if you like the music or not... If you want everyone to hear the music because you enjoy it, you can no longer hear it. If you want them to hear so they can experience the torture of the music, it suddenly becomes beautiful music that can never be overplayed, which you, again, cannot hear.

    I wish I had a perfect memory.

  2. Ubuntu forever! Have been an Ubuntu user for a couple of years, I still do have a Windows partition, though I never use it. I use Ubuntu mainly because I dabble in programming, and I'm also trying to run a MUD, and it's generally not recommended to run those anywhere else.

  3. What if Adonalsium was aware, at the time of its destruction, that there were sixteen people present, and consciously broke into sixteen pieces? Or, what if his destroyer was able to calculate the number of shards it would break into?

It seems like kind of a coincidence how Adonalsium broke into the exact amount of shards as people present. Although I may be extremely wrong, and the people who got the shards were just faster than the others present. It's just a theory... A game theory...

  4. Granted. To continue being healthy, you must live in a small, airtight room with nothing in it whatsoever, so that you are untainted by the pollution/smog/whatever_it_is_that_is_uncomfortable_and_unhealthy_in_the_place_where_you_live.

I wish that my theories would change canon so that they would always be accurate.

  5. Shardholders hold shards, hence the name. But do they actually, physically, hold a shard? In Mistborn

    when Sazed becomes Harmony, he

he drew them [the powers] into him

but does that mean that the power was inside of him? As in, it is incorporeal, and simply enters the body of the holder?

Another question, where do Shardholders "hang out" when they become Shardholders? I imagined them, like, hovering above, being awesome, but that probably isn't true.

  6. So, Adonalsium shattered long ago, and the Shattering was witnessed by several people, one of which we know is Hoid. From this Shattering there came 16 shards, each with an Intent. All of these events occurred in the shared universe in which all of Brandon's fantasy books are set: the Cosmere. But how do we know that Adonalsium was ever truly whole? What if Adonalsium was a Shard of something else, a bigger/more powerful entity?

    If so, what then?

Well, we know that there is an opposing force to Adonalsium, the "big bad" enemy. But if that's true for Adonalsium, then what if there was one for the bigger thing before it shattered? What if the "big bad" isn't really the big bad, and there is a bigger big bad?

Just some random theorizing. Was bored. Feel free to shoot me down with a WoB.
