  1. The passage that comes to my mind is at the very end of WoR: I know that there is a WoB that different orders will use surges in much the same way but I can't help but think that what Renarin and Shallan do will be significantly different. Why doesn't Renarin just say "I weave light like Shallan"? Instead he says "I see." Judging by Renarin's breakdown when the Everstorm started (I think he kept saying "It's here" or some such) he can see into the future. There's nothing in Shallan's viewpoints that indicate that talent.
  2. Maybe a Kandra switch was arranged by Wit after Taln arrived at the war camps. Wit has spent a lot of time on Roshar but we don't know much about his scheming other than his pep talks with Kalladin and Shallan. He's got to be up to more. For some reason I've always suspected he was involved in Taln's honor blade switch. I also wonder whether or not Dalinar knew the shard blade he bonded wasn't the original. Maybe a Kandra shard blade swap occurred at the same time.
  3. Moash isn't in a very happy place at the end of WoR. He's on the lam after the botched assassination attempt. A traitor. Twice over. So where does he go from here? Will this sequence of events 'break' him and attract a spren that will lead him to become a KR? This is possible, I suppose, but I think it's unlikely. Moash doesn't strike me as someone susceptible to a moral crises. All he seemed to live for was revenge. When that failed I think he'll just feel sorry for himself and move on. He has shards but he can't eat them and they won't put a roof over his head. I think he'll follow Graves and throw his lot in with Taravangian as a matter of survival and this is where it gets interesting. From the decrypted Diagram code it's clear that Taravangian has or will at some point have KR kryptonite. When Taravangian makes his play how will the KRs survive? I think Moash will blow things up from the inside in an act of personal redemption. If I'm right I hope it doesn't happen soon though, cause Taravangian is going to be the most fun villain to read since Terl from Battlefield Earth. Does anyone else see Moash as a savior? Or maybe just another bad guy?
  4. Hey all, First ever post.... Even though Renarin and Shallan both have the Illumination surge I don't think Renarin can create illusions like Shallan can. I think Renarin looks through his box to other places/times. I also think this connection to foretelling is why the Truthwatchers are so secretive.
