    As I said a few post up the author improvement is huge. You can tell you are reading Weeks but you reading a much wiser Weeks. I'd even go so far as to say authors could take lessons in the LB Weeks in how to knock your head spinning with plot twist. His next project is going back to Night Angel and I want to hurry up and have it in my hands already.

    It is a very fun series and a vast author improvement from Night Angel. I'm ready for it to end though just because he is going back to NA setting and I want to see how much his exp will be able to help it

    Orville ep 2 was good! This ep was almost pure character building with a side of humor vs the over whelming humor of ep 1. This should be good news for doubters. If the show can mix the 2 then this stands a chance to become a real hit imo.

    Finished Dresden 1. 1 F bomb in that one. Starting 2 now.

    No problem it is a fantastic series and in a few yrs it will make a fantastic reread. I promise that part. There is a temporary downside to reading Malazan in that other books could very well pale in comparison for a bit.

    That's actually really tough to answer. white Night, Death Masks, Summer Knight, Cold Days. They are simplistic indeed yet much like Abercrombie they roll off the tongue so very easily.

    I love this trilogy. Definitely not for everyone though for sure. Mark Lawrence frequently post on the Malazan board and engages us like an everyday guy which I love. I need to read the 2nd set and his new book.

    Yeah I kept telling myself that but 6 yrs old was a awefully big stretch for me to take in.

    Ok my meds kicked in the midst of typing last night and I knew I wouldn't be able get much out. i think this is my age causing issues with things like Lightbringer 3 then this really got to me in early Republic young Locke bit. as I said I don't deny my age could have influenced the 2 cases

    Finished the main story of Destiny 2 last night. That was so much fun and coherent compared to vanilla D1! Still sooooo much more to do. I'm happy

    It was something else and as a matter of fact I had similar grumpiness with a part in Lightbringer 3. I think it could be my age coming into play.

    That was actually one of the main gripes I had. I won't say what yettill you finish and it could be very nit picky on my part but I thought it was a bad book regardless in comparison to how good 1&2 were.

    I ll be curious to hear your take on Republic. As I've said more then a few times...I hated it and feel for the trees that gave their wood for it to be printed upon.

    My Malazan and Dresden rereads couldn't be more satisfactory. The characters in Midnight Tides are down right hilarious. Knowing what's in store for Harry is exciting.

    Not sure how The Orville will ultimately be received but the 1st minute is gold! That's as far as I've gotten before I took to my message boards lol

    Not sure if I said it here. Started my Dresden reread. On bk 1 about 100 pgs in. This is very strange on a reread having an under powered Harry. I'm going to count the Fbombs in bk 2. I think some here said they thought this one had more then usual. Maybe it was on Theforce.net.

    The story in D2 has been soooo much better than D1. I've been having massive amounts of fun with it. No PvP yet. I want my powers unlocked 1st. Need a new controller also before I start. No way this one will handle the punishment I gave it in 3 yrs of D1.

    Now this is pretty! Controls feel a tad sluggish though. Hopefully the story will be good. I hate that Guardian is mute again. Idk why this is as they talked in vanilla Destiny..
