That doesn't necessarily mean they'll be full on new abilities. It just says their use will be modified slightly. It will probably be stuff like abrasion and gravitation. (Just an example) Gravitation to fly, and using abrasion to give yourself less wind resistance for an extra boost of speed.

Space flight of some kind in SA is an idea I don't find very plausible. It sounds like a lame Dragon ball Z plot However it's been said that some of the KR have the ability to 'disappear from one place and reappear in another' so some kind of teleportation to one of the moons isn't out of the question.

I think the fake death/ real death and resurrection thing is a bit overplayed these days. It's the one story element of WoR that didn't sit right with me. However, that said, Jasnah is one of my favourite Stormlight characters so it did serve its purpose by making me genuinely worried for about 90% of the book.

I think there would have to be new spren for the new KR. The spren are only as dead as the original KR's vows. If they'd kept their vows until they died then the spren would have unbonded at that time to wait for someone new who is worthy to bond with. As it is, they broke their vows, killing the Spren, then died. The spree are dead without their original knights. At least i hope that's how it is. Too many books have surprise reincarnations and stuff. Can't the occasional massacre just stay a massacre? As for stormlight reforming spiritual bonds, my assumption is that there has to be something physical to represent that bond, like Kaladins arm, otherwise where is the stormlight to go?
