PeterAhlstrom he/him Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Because the German readers and the German publisher love Dan's books. Basically, right now, Dan's career is based on German sales. Anything he gets from the UK or US is extra. This is by no means a unique case. I think Greg Egan's books are more popular in Japan than the US. And Marion Zimmer Bradley was much more popular in Germany than the US.
